Im about 45 mins to hour from asheville

and yea we get our dry spells ,

so thankful for creeks that run off from the main river deep in the woods lol

i will journal this thread just like my micro scrog/lst thread in the Grow Journals forum

i just got it here since its outdoors

obviously i wont post pics everyday cuz they dont grow that fast

i wish they did ( we would be harvesting crops every 2 weeks lol )

Damn bro that really sucks ,

they actually got your 10 plants instead of those 800 plant grows you here about here in N.C

how far along were they ? and how big of an open space did you have them in ?

my 6 are on the edge of the woods ,

but their is a shit load of open area around ,

so hopefully if they do look around my way they will look for alot of plants in the open area and not whats along the woods

ill try to post a pic to give you an idea of they layout

he broke out the kamas and went old school 1900`s Japanese farming on them bitches lol

i like kamas ,

iv been in martial arts all my life ,

even got some 1st and 2nd place trophies from tournaments ,

here is a pic of some of the trophies and all my belts from white to 2nd degree black

i have a couple of plaques but i ( WILL NOT ) post a pic of them lol

i will be going out in a little bit to start working on trying to bury that tub .

well i tried but could not do it

Ok

so trying to bury the tub did not work out so well

i could not push the tub down far enough in the hole for the water to start flowing in lol

it was sort of like trying to push down a big as float / inner tube and hold it down under water in a pool or at the beach

( understand what im trying to say their ? )


So i had to make some modifications ,

I drilled a pilot hole in the bottom / side of the tub , then used my jigsaw to cut the bottom completely off

then i drilled 1" holes all around it so the water can still travel through it

i dug some more in the creek ,

and finally got it down in their ,

shwwww , that was pretty tough at first lol

im glad its hot out cuz i was soaked

i had to get on my hands and knees to push it down far enough

my socks and shoes are soaked now and full of sand lol

i haven't took the pic of it in the creek yet cuz the sand was all stirred up from me digging and shit

ill go back out their in a bit when its cleared up and get a pic for yall

but here are a couple of pics of what i did to the tub


EDIT ,

Almost forgot

their was an animal foot print in 1 of my holes

idk what it was though ,

heres a pic but im pretty sure you can not make it out

but if by chance you can make it out

what do you think it was ?

Ok ,

its cleared out now

in fact its so clear that you can not even tell theirs water in their lol

you can see the sand at the bottom

but i assure you that its completely filled up with the creek water

oh how nice its gonna be to be able to just dip my water container in their and it fills up in like less then 5 sec :-P

instead of just sitting their squatted down waiting forever for it to fill up

oh my poor knees :cry: lol

yayyyyyyyyyyyyyy , tha its finally done , :clap:

idk how good you can see it though

but its for sure filled up

Ok

i went ahead and topped the 2 bigger ones

when the new tops grow i will pull them down and tie them to the sides of those 5gal buckets that i cut in half

i know you cant tell i topped them , but i did lol

Yea i got some 2" chicken wire that i was originally going to use for my scrog

but i ended up getting the plastic 1" wire ( which im glad i did )

man it was hell getting that down in their like that lol

i know just by looking at it that it seems that it was simple

but i assure you my man i put in work on that shit lol

Well i took my 3 nl`s out their today and put the last bit of chicken wire around them

its just temporary until i get something put up to go around all of them ( fenced in )

i will put my blue mystics out when i get more wire

im sorry that yall can not really see them right now

Yo goten, greetings from central NC. Your grow looks good. The red clay and rocks make it hard as hell to dig and grow.

I dig holes 3ft around and 18 inches deep. Backfill with a home made potting soil mix and mulch over the top.

Best luck on some giant nugs bro.

Well i got some wooden stakes and painting them black ( 12 of them )

well it was 6 but i cut them in half

im going to stake them in the ground around my plants and attach a scrog net to them

but im not scrogging , im just going to be using it to lst with

it will not be no higher then 2ft

of course the plants will be bigger then that , but just using the net to help along the lst

here are a couple of pics for now

ill post a pic of how it all looks after i get it all done

Heard human hair works pretty good to keep those animals away or just pee around them and i cant tell by the pic but im guessing a fox or cat next time get better pics of those tracks and i will be able to tell you. Also i just read through your thread and if your ever worried about the walk to and from your grow site get a ghillie suit its full camo head to toe like your wearing a bush and some good spotting glass also you can rig traps up not to harm but to let you know someone is in your grow area or has been by simply rigging sticks up also you can get super cheap trail cameras if your really worried. Sub'd this thread too! Cant wait to see what ya do with your little plot of land:-)

ur fence isnt going to do anything but get noticed..... deer will go over it rabbits ground hogs will go under. chicken wire is the best and hard to see.

Goten, whats up man. Your fence looks good. Gotta' keep them damn deers away. If you're just trying to keep the rabbits out that fence will do fine. But when it comes to deer, you need at least a 4ft high fence. Some people say to hang a bar of irish spring soap in an onion bag. Apparently the deer hate the smell of it.

Im in no way trying to be an asshole or a dickhead or anything like that

but please read some of my post before you comment on my pics from that post ,

the fence is not their to keep deer out or any other animals ,

even with a higher fence , if deer really wanted through they would lol

but its just simply their to aid in my lst`n ,

when i bend my branches over i will tie them to the fence

as of now my biggest threat is Termites

thats why im gonna make a barrier using gasoline , they wont go near that shit ,

and the smell of the gas will keep animals away also

but like i said im not worried about the animals right now ,

i wont have to worry about animals until i start feeding molasses to my plants

thats if i even give it to them this year

the fence is actually smaller then you might think

it just looks bigger then it is cuz how close i was to it

if something happens to where i feel the need to take it down then i will

but as of now , everything is cool

this is a very secluded place and the po po`s would have to have prior knowledge of where my spot is to find it

thats a little cocky i know

im just saying no one knows about this spot at all ( besides you all )

but yall dont even know the actual location , hahahahahahahahahhahahahahhahahaha
