can anyone identify the light bulb in this picture? its light is a orange-gold color and its about 6 inches long

looks to me like a metal halide but im no expert, a friend of mine stole like 4 of those from some billboard signs on the freeway

hehe im also no expert but id really say its hps long and slendor i have been around hps and mh enough mh are fat bulbs id say mabye someone can post some website with the same lights and names them

i have a metal halide bulb in my garage and it looks almost identical its long and skinny aswell but ur probally right like i said im no expert

whare hoses have lots of HID lamps too is it MH for indoor nd HPS for outdoor lighting right.... im pretty sure cuz street lamps are hps....

buahahahaha but be sure to take a radio scanner to it. I've hears of GPS units being attached to some of those things. (the shrouds)

i wouldnt doubt it at all, there so easy to steal when u get the bulb id get rid of the rest asap, a friend of mine stole a 3k dollar video projector and he got arrested cause it had a gps chip in it.
