NANNNNNERS

So my girl is in week 4 of flowering and today ive found several 'nanners'. Theres no light leaks and the plant has been really healthy through the entire grow. I have sprayed the affected buds with misted water and removed the nanners, which were all still pale green coloured. I really dont want to chop this plant as its shaping up to be a MASSIVE yeild. Ive come to the conclusion that the root cause is heat stress as the last few days the temperature has been 31c + outside, which in turn means my grow space (inside) has been quite hot. The nanners were not present yesterday. Ive also added another 6inch extraction fan to help remove the excess heat. Will resolving the heat issue stop nanner production? Or would it be possible for me to check and remove any nanners for the duration of flowering? I dont mind a few seeds here and there just need some advice on the best course of action. Ive had this issue before and after i removed the nanners i never found anymore, but this time i found approx 8. Each on the top of individual bud sites.20160914_154359.jpg 20160914_154352.jpg

Ive seen someone spray florell on their flowers when the nanners were popping up and the florel killed the nanner and actually made the bud blow up.
If your serious about no seeds maybe you should take a look.

I`d just keep checking them

sometimes when I`m trimming I find a few per plant that managed to pop

normally that leads to around 3 to 50 seeds per Zip if any

more of a problem when they spunk all over a younger plant

A few seeds aint a problem and seeded plants normally make more resin anyway

just when they get seeded young and the buds full of it when its a big problem

Cali Mist and most OG kushes along with any fem seeds that aint been done right always seem to wanna chuck balls if there`s any light/heat stresses

Hey thanx for the advice. This is cherry bomb by bomb seeds. Theres no actual balls/sacs and ive found these nanners on the top of the buds. This girl did veg for 6 weeks so its 10 weeks old including 4 week bloom. I feel reassured that its hopefully something i can keep under control. The smell in the tent is insane, it would kill me to chop her. Luckily this is the only plant in the tent so no worries of ruining anything other then herself.

yeah should be fine then

Lots of breeders are using GA3 or light stress to make fem`d seeds now as its cheaper then using colloidal silver

seems to increase the chance of getting some balls later in flower with a lot of strains

but honestly why pay £100 for a 10 pack of fems, they won`t be much better than a £20 pack of fems for not chucking out balls

best way is to grow reg`s but then you know half of them will be male so you need twice the veg space....

Im pretty limited on space thats why ive optes for fems. This one was actually a freebie and has been one of the best ive grown so far. Plants covered in trichs already and just smells devine. Im going to persevere with her. Just going to do checks 2-3 times a day armed with tweezers and water mist and hope it was just a heat stress blip. Thankyou for the advice. Im relatively new to growing in a controlled medium. All trial and error.

Why would you chop her? I have found that a few balls that far into flower are most likely caused by heat stress and will produce a few fem seeds, not a bad thing...but if you get a LOT of balls...then it's a hermi and that is a bad thing and the only thing you can do if try to pick them off as they appear...either way let the bud finish and enjoy what you have...I'm betting heat stress and only a few seeds, if so...keep the seeds.

UPDATE.... so its 24 hours after the first nanners showed up. And today theres no nanners. Its been checked routinely through the day and havent seen a single one. I did observe that all the buds that had the nanners were the ones closest to the light and heat. Twmps are sitting at 28c today. I checked the max temp for yesterday and it was 39.7c!! Feeling positive that it was a heat blip and my girl has stopped trying to fuck herself so to speak lol thanx again for the advice it was truely appreciated
