Nanolux 630 CMH grow in 4x4

If i was going to run a single 315w bulb I would buy a hood that mounts the bulb vertically . So far I've never had bigger , denser , stickier nugs ever than eith this 630. I could of done this run even better too if I would have switched out my 4200k bulb for 3100k earlier would of helped

Update : these girls continue to impress me....the bud size is just incredible . Even more impressive ....is the trichs . Trichs stacked on top of trichs . I can't even believe how good these are turning out. Think it was a good call switching to 2 - 3100k bulbs. Update! Chopped my purple diesel down at end of week 9. Didn't get very much off of her. My logic is she didmt stretch at all during flower which left all the tops short and close together preventing adequate light to all parts of the branch . But the 3 other girls are doing umbelieveable ! My blue dream looks like the biggest yielder. Looking to get 5-6 zips off of jist her. So by just the looks of it....my 4x4 tent was only filled about 3/4 full. One of the plants yielded much less than it probably should have. Another girl didny live up to her potential since she didny get to veg as long as she should have. All in all it looks to be abouy a 1lb to lb and a half. this is amazingly beautiful! I have a Blue Dream that is 1.5 weeks into flower mode now with several other tent mates, and i am anticipating she will be kind and generous to me, I can only hope as nice as what you have here. what an amazing strain...

Probably the best smoke I've grown to date. Trichs are insane which is why i trimmed alot less off. Smells like sweet skunky blueberry. Did fantastic under my cmh. I have one more week or so till my last girl is finished. It's a purple Urkle X Girl Scout Cookie

I just got a nano 630 myself. what's up with the metal reflectors you can install? does it narrow the footprint?

I found that cmh unit will sufficiently light a 5x5 space. If you use those reflectors I believe it will narrow it to a 4x4. Depending how high you mount it. I had good results at 40" above canopy. I wouldn't run the 4200k bulb in flower past week 3. Make sure your running dual 3100k. I had waaaaaay to much leaf development with the 4200k bulb

I just picked up a few Solis Tek Dual CMH with matched lamps.

I did the 4200K and 3100k bulbs. I assumed mixed spectrum was better for flower but you think it makes them to leafy?

How was the heat from that thing? I am running 2 1000 watt hps A/C hoods in an 8x8. I wanted to put 3 630's in the 8x8x7 but I think heat will be an issue. What kinda temps did yours create?

What are you growing now?

I would say the 630s are similar heat to a 600w hps. Definetly manageable. The penetration over the 315s is superb. 630s can penetrate pretty damn well. Righ5 now I've got 3blueberry and 3 lemon og in my 4x4. Just flipped lights last night . Ordered a new 5x5 tent that I will be moving them all into when it arrives .

Also , the 3100k is plenty full spectrum for flower. Some people have good results running both bulbs. But i want as much red as I can get with these cmh. There's plenty of spectrum to increase trichs already. But if all you have is one of each om sure you will be jist fine. I only use the 4200k bulb for veg and first 2 weeks of flower to prevent stretching as much as possible
