Native soil, is it a waste?

So im some plants in nice holes with soils. But I got 15 extra seeds and plan on just placing them in the dirt (nice dirt along a river). Id still fertilize them.
Does this just sound like a waste of time or can I still get an ounce per plant if i fertilize them with native soil?
I no theres no EXACT answer, but an estimate is fine!!

Transplanting into native soil is fine. It helps to mix it with premium soil amendments but you don't always have to. Use a $3.00 soil test to check pH and NPK levels. Dig a hole and fill it with water to check drainage. Then you'll really know what your working with.

Avoid using native soil in containers. That's just asking for trouble.

lime it and turn it over with a shovel. prob is that the seedlings need water ever day keep them mulched with grass clipping so they dont dry out

i would dig a hole and put some good soil in the hole and plant in that so the plant can grow into the native soil atleast let it get a good root structure in some good soil. Hell if i was planting in native soil that wasnt the best and the ph was all ok i would mix in just a little of the miracle grow organic mix in the hole the stuff is cheap and not as hot as there other crap they have i have heard it works ok to mix with native soils in holes with bud. Never done it so i cant say from personal expierence

As said above, look for that nice dark sand. Dark sand means there are organics in it. Organics will feed your plant.

Its not necessarily dark sand but it is pretty lose and light. I might dig a 1x1 hole, insert soil then see how they go. Should I be expecting less than an ounce per plant or can I get some nice buds if I fertilize it and it goes right with only a little bit of soil.
