I don't know if this is a sign it's finishing but it's barely used up much of the water since it's last watering and usually in previous weeks it drinks like crazy and it's still been hot here where I am in Aus
Nearing end of grow , a lot of amber tricombs but buds not fat enough

I figured if I took time to stylize it, it would give me something to slow me down for a minute. Like, my mind runs like a chainsaw. I was just trying to slow it down with an obstacle or two.

i've done the same thing, took me a minute to figure it out. see how all the very tips of your leaves are burned? that's too much P too early. causes the plant to mature early, trichs age rapidly, the buds can't grow fast enough to catch up.
actually dr. who solved the problem for me while diagnosing someone else with the problem. i cut back on my P in early flower, and the problem went away

Your probably right I did use flowering nutes and pk13/14 bit early thinking it would be a 8 week flowering plant . So do I leave longer or is it best to chop now before buds get bigger and the trichs keep turning amber . Will there be much difference in amber tricombs if I left it another week? I really want to give it a few days full darkness and possible even split the stem from what I've read those things will produce more resin

If January 7th was week 2, you’re at 14-16 weeks (too stoned to care enough to do the math). They should be ready.

January 7th was when I had had it for 2 weeks , I'm not sure how long it took from seed to get there , the pistils/bud sites most likely showed up sometime around January 27 .
So it's been 8 weeks since I've seen the pistils/bud sites show . Does that sound about right then to chop now or is it a couple more weeks ? I thought the flowering period didn't start when it stretched but when u see the pistils ?
