necrotic spot on month old seedling

Hard to say. Some of the spotting looks like nutrients got splashed on them. I'd be more concerned if it feels like it is spreading.

What size pot is she in? I'd favor transplanting up to fresh soil over adding fertilizer at this age.

Thanks for replying.. she's in about a quart sized cup, im bout to transplant her into a bigger container today though. I tested the pH of the runoff and it was in between 8-9!! So I did a flush. So I think part of the problem was that. I haven't noticed any new spots, BUT the necrotic spots that are already there are turning darker. Any more information or advice would be awesome guys!!! Also, I've attached an updated picture of what the plant looks like 2 days after noticing the spots.20140509_100333.jpg20140509_100413.jpg

Yea. I saw them in the picture too so I handle them so they should be gone now. Anyways, the necrotic brown spots seems like they're spreading and now the leaves from the bottom up are yellowing. Ive concluded that it's not from spilling nutrients ob the leaves being that its spreading all over the plant. So since my PH run off was between 8-9 a few days ago. Ive concluded that the problem was 2 things. One problem caused the other. Im pretty sure it was a nutrient overdose first and that caused a high pH fluctuation which in turn cause a nutrient lockout. Does anyone agree with me? its getting worse and I really need to figure it asap20140511_081540.jpg20140511_081547.jpg

Ok, did some research now I need confirmation on my hypothesis of my plants problem. I cut and pasted this next paragraph. The picture was included, and it looks very similar to the pictures of my plant. So let me know what you guys think. Thanks! P.S: the first picture is of the plant I found the information about on the web

Sorry I forgot to add the cut n paste article that went with the picture...
"24planthlpr.jpeg 20140511_081605.jpg This is a very common problem that can be disguised as an improper pH, or light burning, as well as a myriad of other problems. The first picture masks as over Nitrification, but notice how the entire leaf is curled under, not just the tip. The second photo displays many problems associated with overferting, some of which could be a simple imbalance of pH and a certain nutrient/micro lockout at the given pH.Over watering / lack of Dissolved Oxygen"

just transplanted seedling into my new organic soil mixture.
Which consists of:
1- 8quart bag, Natures Care Organic soil

1 gallon, Perlite
1 gallon, Sphagnum Peat Moss
1 gallon, lawn & garden all purpose organic starter mix (perlite, peat moss, vermiculite, organic wetting agent)

Espoma Garden Lime (ph neutralizer)

5 tbsp Blood Meal
5 tbsp Bone Meal

Does that sound like a good mix?

It'll do better in a real plantpot. IMO one month is too long to keep it in that cup with soil. Did you cut drain holes in the party cup?

Yeah it had a bunch of drain holes but the only reason I didnt transplant it until today was because its hieght was only 6 inches so I figured it didn't need a bigger pot yet but I transplanted today so it has a bigger home now and better soil mixture

Soil is no good for growing cannabis. What the hell is 'topsoil' anyway? i dont think its topsoil from the rain forrest for eg. Use coco.
Also there is mildew on the leaves its too wet in there. The plant is finished start again.
