the smell/aroma is getting a bit overwhelming but dont have a lot of money,,, any suggestions,,, help,,,.......................................................................
theres a DIY thread about making a carbon filter. thats what i did. i used 2 6 to 8 inch ducting reducers, used some metal screen and wrapped it into a cylinder around the 8 inch sides of the filter and secured with ducttape. once i had a sturdy enough cylinder i duct taped off one end to seal and and then wrapped activated carbon around the screen. it works good, not great but good. i think i need another layer of carbon. but i only spent 35 bucks making it from items i found at home improvement stores. let me see if i can find the link for it.
has anyone tried those air purifiers at walmart, some are really cheap,, just wondering if they work at all,, I see they have a lot of them...Hell,, If they dont work Ill get my money back..................
I got my ductwork at Lowe's, $8 aND BONDED FILTER PADS FOR $4. i GOT THE ACTIVATED CARBON AND FILTER FIBER AT petco FOR $4 activated carbon, $3.50 filter fiber. Excellent filter works for up to two months, $21 total.
