Need a defoliation advice

Hi guys, 3 plants, in scrog, 3 weeks into flowering, those babies surprised me this time, must be the new nutritious addition or something... I never got so stretched and bushy with Indica.

Can I remove all the LARGE fan leaves to expose the lower buds to light?
You think I should I remove some buds (full stem) to provide space?
Note that below the net there are no leaves, but they stretched almost 2X...

Thanks

Hows your powdery mildew or mite game?
Its a good idea to defoliate. Myself I dont completely defoliate all at once. I will take 75% leaving some as indicators of nute happenings and other factors. Get air flow, light penetration, no leaves touching with the fan going.
The rest come off as they yellow or the last 2 weeks before harvest.
As far as removing any bud. No need. With your pruning up to your net you've removed most larfy bud already.

Never had mildew or mites.
Actually I had mites on my first organic grow but that few years ago in a different tent.

But I had bud rot twice, since then I am cutting huge buds even before fully ripen.
I keep my humidity level on 40% now.

I will go with this guide,

Those leaves to remove in that diagram are "sources" and the bud sites are the "sink". Essentially you are removing the one part of the plant that is most effecient at using light and CO2. The energy produced in that leaf goes to the sink, i.e. the budsite.

Amen. I only remove leaves to fit the space and for airflow. Otherwise, if they’re healthy, let them go.
