Need a diagnosis

Thanks to you Roseman I know why they call you Mr. Ganja thanks for all the help man check back hopefully I'll make up my mind on clone or not and have some pics for you. . .what set-up are you curently using and hows it going so far?

I recently harvested about 17 dried manicured ounces in July and I keep it buried in the yard, in the woods, in a 5 gallon bucket, in jars. I keep less than an ounce in the house except when I have a GROW growing. I seldom share it and never sell it so I have a year's supply and will not do a grow until March of next year. I also have about 8 or 10 grams of high quality hash stored. I also have a grown son that grows and three close friends that grow and I loan them my lights and tanks for a share of their grow. I could almost quit growing and just smoke what they give me.

I have a ton of equipment and I have three tanks and about 20 reflectors and 20 bulbs. I do have a $100 ppm meter now, ( I do not find it necesary, I seldon use it) and I have a ph meter, I got for $59. I like it for being easier. I normally use only two tanks and 14 bulbs for a grow, with 2 or 3 females in each tank. Sometimes I start, or I used to start 18 seeds, and let them get a foot tall and look to see which ones have multiple stalks, (the trunk of the plant) and I toss the runts and single stalked plants. I want the plants with multiple stalks like in my pic under my signature. I used to try to see if I could break my old record for bigger yields, but I am getting lazy and trying to figure out how to make it easier on myself and this old worn out body. I will be 60 yrs old in a few months adn i am geting tired easier. I smoke alone, or with my wife or only 2 or 3 friends, but theat is very seldom, and smoking a j or two everyday, I still only use an ounce a month.
This is not a hobby that you tell everyone or anyone about.

I totally understand I feel like on here you guys are some of my best friends because I dont want people OR SO CALLED FRIENDS coming and asking me for herbs or to see my shit. . . plus some people on here really know what they are talking about.

1 quick question for you:What pH should I aim for in my bubble setup? I have read around and 6.2-6.4 seems to be about the norm do these numbers match up to your experience>?

Growers argue about PH, mostly because it is diferent for SOUIL from HYDRO and visa versa. I own 14 books on growing pot, and only two are old ones. Of the 12 newer ones, they all saying different percents, that vary from 5.8 to 6.5 for Hydro. When my pH creeps up to 7.0 overnight, I do not get NUTRITIONAL LOCKOUT. At 7.2, I DO get LOCKOUT. That knowledge came from experience, my own personal experience. I use a pH meter now. I grew for 3 years with test strips.
I like anything between 5.8 and 6.5, that works best for me. If you use the color strips, you can not be as accurate but you can test them cheaper. You can get a good pH meter for $59, but the test strips work fine.
and some good advise FOR YOU, if you arE just starting, 2 THINGS.
1, DO NOT TELL, DO NOT TRUST A GIRLFRIEND! THAT IS HOW YOU GET CAUGHT AND BUSTED.
2, SPRAY A PESTICIDE like HOMEGUARD in the floor and corners in your closet or grow room! Those pesty spider mites will find your GROW if you don't spray first.

And I know its sad that Im the only one I can tell without worry about whats gonna happen. . .5.8-6.5 is a big gap there buddy cant be any more specific im talking one plant five gallon bucket bubbled with a 4" net pot and hydroton? its not true bubbleponics cuz the roots are just dangling in water no water pump and isnt not really hydro cuz everywhere i read hydro is good at 5.8 but bubble is somewhere in the range of 6.4 can you help on what end of the spectrum would be better and its for a mother that I plan to clone if that matters. . .

No, but I 've been on rollitup for 4 years off and on, and everytime I read here that a grower got busted, it was his angry wife or girlfriend who told on him.

If you stay within that range, you will be just fine. Google pH for hydroponics and see what you get, read or learn.

I can tell you that as often as you can, pour some nutrient water over the
root base, and keep it soaked

A lot of people think that BUBBLEPONICS means the water is bubbling from airstones.
The word BUBBLEPONICS is a registered word, a patented word and a trademark word, owned by a guy named MARTIN (first name) tht owns Stealth Hydroponics. It means the process of recycling and trickling oxygen and nutrient enriched water through a tube to each grow cup.

Gotcha and that is exactly what I plan on doing about 2-3 times a day(sound about right?) I'll water my plant from the top to keep it moist and the roots full of nutes and oxygen thanks for all the help roseman much appreciated
