Well I had to move from my closet...

How does this look? They are two weeks old. This is under my sink. I almost never turn it on (I use purell to sanitize my hands), so I'm not worried about any water wrecking havoc. My leaves look sad on a few plants, and have been that way a little while. I think I gave them too many nutes. I used like 1/2 teaspoon of 24/8/16 in gallon of water and gave it to them at one week old... then diluted what was left of that like 4 to 1 and gave it to them later that week. (they needed water asap, and I couldn't waste what was left. Took bloody ages for the brita to spit out just that little bit).

Are they overwatered? They like to drink like every other day, sometimes two days in a row now. The soil gets dry so fast, possibly because it was like 90 in there till I removed 5 lights, and now it's 85. There wasn't all that much reduction in light. These are 23 watt cfl's. They actually light up the whole inside pretty well.

I'm afraid to hang the lights from the top of the fixture, so is this set up okay? Or should I just figure out a way to safely attach it to the top, say, through duct tape? Or maybe get mylar or something and put it a few inches over the bulbs somehow?

Oh yeah, about the fan, I just removed it for last night because it wasn't standing properly and I was afraid it'd knock things over.

They look kinda ok. Some look a little heatstressed and some look like they are getting too much water maybe. If they are 2 weeks in, you may want to think about transplanting before too long- the roots may be going in circles already.

Oh yeah, that's another thing I was going to ask! How terrible would it be to leave them in the red cups till I sex them... and say, about half are males and THEN I transplant the remaining 5-7 females? One of my babies died yesterday, and when I pulled her out, the roots were pretty much just a straight shaft. Almost no side growth at all. There are a couple others in there I don't think will make it either, which are probably my other bagseed (which I had like 4 of).

The third pic, with the droopy leaves... that one looks overwatered? It's just so hard to let them sit when the soil is so dry.

You are over watering them. As the soil dries up the roots go deeper into the soil to reach water. How big do you want these plants to be? The longer you wait to transplant the more stunted the plant will be.

transplant now you will regret it if you dont youll probably lose them all... and i bet if you were to sift through the soil in the cup from the plant you 'pulled out' you would notice little root growth all in there. UNDERwatering is ALOT easier to fix that OVERwatering and I know it's hard to let them sit in dry soil, but it is actually good for them it helps them grow in search of moisture. The fan is necessary at all times, to help with the heat and provide fresh air (not sure how fresh air under a bathroom sink is?) and if you used nutrients already it may have been a little early i usually wait 3-4 weeks into grow to start nute regiment

Well I'm a first time grower, so even minimal returns would be satisfactory. I don't even want them big. As a matter of a fact, I have to finish up within 2 months. I know I'll get incredibly little, but just to say (to myself at least) I DID it... is enough. :) I'd be happy to walk away from this with 1/2 oz. Can I feasibly expect that from, let's say, 5 plants, if I force them into flowering in time?

By the way, how often should I give them nutes?

yea i would totally re-pot NOW and probably even flush those babies, they could be alot healthier looking but don't fret, pot plants are resilient, or so I'm told... ha good luck!

The ppm of what I gave them barely broke 200, probably closer to 150. I simply calculated it (133 oz in a gallon, gave them like .02 oz) I didn't go near full blast.

Sweet. Alright, so should I figure out a way to hang the lighting, because there's no way I can fit them all under there, even in gallon containers. Maybe I should also kill the ones that look the worst, so I can have 3 by 3? Maybe even 8, since that ol' pipe is in the way. One of my room mates suggested just having one in the closet and putting all my love and care into that one, but it'd suck if it was a male. =/

Like I said, I need to be out in 2 months... May 9th. When should I flower, then? I'm thinking 2 weeks... but if they grow at this rate, even the huge swell in size during flowering won't be much. Up my lighting, perhaps?

Well, I got the rest of the day off, so this would be a good day as any to do the stuff I need. What do you suggest? Gallon pots? It'll suck, because that's 1/2 bag soil per plant! I think I should kill the sad looking ones... But I can't help but feel it'd be like killing the smallest of a set of triplets, or killing a midget.

:(:(:(

Oh and how often should I give them nutrients? I was never really able to find how often, just how MUCH.

Again, thanks a lot everyone for the help. =)

I think it's best not to give the plants any nutes until flowering and even then use half the suggested solution on the bottle if it's a synthetic fert. Also dude, I hope you have somewhere else to put those babies cause you're gonna run out of space reaaal fast come flowering - they'll grow 2-3x their height after you switch to 12/12 so think about that.

Otherwise... they look a little stressed out but marijuana is a resilient plant

I think I can put them in the water heater closet which is on our porch for flowering. :) I thought something high in nitrogen would be good for vegging?
