POSTED PICTURES OF PROBLEM, IM THINKING ITS HEAT STRESS SINCE THE ROOM HAS BEEN GETTING REALLY HOT!!

I have my first operation growing in a greenhouse and the temperature has been getting outrageous in there, 100+ degrees. Because of this heat it looks like my babies are getting some sort of heat stress.

I transplanted and began with clones in the beginning of May and it looks like most of the clones did well with the transition except one of them.

I have about 4 fans running in a 7 by 7 outdoor GLASSHOUSE and ive been experimenting different ways to see if i can get the temp. down but havent had too much luck since there isnt much room for the air to escape to.

I HAVE ALOT OF GOOD CLEAN AIR GOING IN THE ROOM BUT NOT TOO MUCH OF THAT AIR CAN ESCAPE THE ROOM SINCE THE ROOM IS POORLY VENTILATED!!!

Im having a real hard time with this and ANy advice would be appreciated. i know there are people out there that have experienced some sort of problem like mine.

THANKS A BUNCH IN ADVANCE!!

Gotta figure out an exhaust fan..Can you remove a pane and install one?

I was thinking of putting up a shade cloth with about 30-40% shade so that the heat could go down a little and some shade could keep a little heat out.

I was also looking at exhaust fans but i think my main problem would be that it gets too hot in there because there isnt enough shade.

Ill keep u posted

No you do need a centrif exhaust fan on thermostat to move the hot old air out and bring fresh cooler CO2 air in. Atm your air is hot stagnant and not a place to grow dope. For now leave the door open and blow a fan from the outside in if possible.

Thanks for the reply Mr. Ganja. Very Insightful thinking! I went and bought an exhaust fan and a 50% shade cloth for half of the roof cuz it got up to 110 F..

I installed the 4' exhaust fan today and managed to pull the air out thru the roof(lowered the temp down about 8 degrees) I also put one of my fans outside the door and held it open and my temperature dropped at least another 10 degrees. Although it helped i still need to drop the temperature down more cuz its still too hott!

I plan on going out and buying another exhaust fan so i could have one on each side of the greenhouse to be pumping out double the air. I want the heat at no more than 85-88 and humidity between 25-40%. Hope another exhaust fan solves this problem!

I plan on removing two glass panes from two of the corners of the greenhouse and replacing them with some vents to let a little more ventilation in, hope that works and drops the temp. down a little more too!

whats CFM on your fan? just get one larger one and figure out the cubic feet of your room and get a fan that meets or exceeds what you need and use the 4" fan for an intake air and get some fresh cooler air moving around in there or go snag a 100-150dollar wall mount a/c will cost to run so use as last resort

Thanks to all of you for the advice!!

I bought a 10 inch inline fan running at 560cfm to pump out all the old air and my room is about 450cfm so its holding up pretty good and keeping it real cooool!

I also installed the 4'' inline fan as an air intake just like i was advised and what a difference that has made to the room.

The hottest the room got to today was 92 degrees and that isnt bad at all considering that it was 110+ last week. I still plan on bringing it down more, maybe to around 85.

I added a 50% shade cloth to the side of the roof that gets the afternoon sun so that it wont get too hot when its the most hot and also popped out 2 glass corner pieces in the greenhouse and installed vents instead so that the room could be a little more ventilated.

It seems like those 2 inline fans helped alot, now the only thing left to do is change the fans from a timer to a temperature control switch so that the fans know to turn on at a certain temp. and turn off when the temperature in the room has been reached.
