Need a new tent

Last tent was compromised while in storage. Pulled it out and it was covered in powdered mold about 30% of it. Was looking for an excuse to upgrade anyways. I want a 4x4x7 tent, looking for some good recommendations.

I have the Cloudlab 4x4.. only thing I don't like is the upper 6 inch port (as seen in the picture), sits to low, forcing ppl to exhaust outside of the tent to make up for grow space.

I have a 4x4x7 Mars Hydro and love it. You can use “Canuck15” promo code (think it’s Mr. Canuck’s code from yt) on the Mars site or Amazon. I’d personally go with that or the AC Infinity cuz they’re both thicker material than cheap vivosuns. Mars is 1680D, AC is 2000D, and Vivosuns are only like 600D.

Personally I like the Mars cuz it has the 2 butterfly hatches on the side. The AC has to be peeled away from the frame.

Awesome. Really appreciate that

Yea those side doors are key. I didn’t know the AC Infinity didn’t have them. So then I’d 100% go with Mars in that case cuz I couldn’t manage without getting to the side and back quickly and easily.

I agree. Right now I'm having to pull the back plant completely out of the tent for reg maintenance .. i cant be doing that shit .. and what bout when I scrog the mofo? I'll deal with it this grow, but next I'm going back to Mars.

looks like same as vivosun tents, literally. prices are good depending what you want for size but for 2x2x4 for $70? idk.. maybe
I actually have one of each … tried getting another green architecture when shopping , out of stock for my size. So i bought Vivosun.

But Green Architecture is better quality. Heavy duty zip

I've been using a 48x48x80 Vivosun going on 4 years. It does what it's supposed to and the zipper still works fine. You can spend 3X as much but it won't grow any better weed. As for construction, the Vivosun has metal poles and connectors. The material may not be as thick as more expensive tents but that doesn't matter to me. I set it up and grow in it. It's not like it is subjected to harsh conditions like a boat cover or Bimini.

The money saved by purchasing one of the inexpensive tents that work perfectly fine could pay for another light. The Vivosun is more than $200 less than a Gorilla. The Gorilla may be heavy duty construction but my plants don't care about any of that. As long as they get uninterrupted light cycles that's all that matters. I'm not saying the Gorilla isn't a quality product but you can get a tent that will perform what it's supposed to do for less than half the price.

idk, never tried the green arch but i do like my (only) vivosun. seems pretty high quality but i'm not the type to drop a few hundred dollars on a tent. my vivosun does suck in though especially with their branded in-line fan.

You do you, but I read multiple reviews about how cheap the material was, how many light leaks there are, how easy it was to rip, etc. I figured for a few bucks more, it’s worth it (to me) to get one that’s 3x the thickness. I’m not saying a Gorilla is necessary and I usually find something in the middle that covers my concerns without breaking the bank. We all prioritize these things differently.
