Sounds like a good plan. I'd try the Chevy too.I've had a Nissan Frontier, Toyota Tundra and just lost my Ford F150. Thinking I should try a Chevy 1500 now. This will be for work and my daily driver.
That was kind of my thinking. Just try something I haven't tried before. Everything is fucking junk nowadays anyways. Lol.Ive done chevys my whole life. Just recently switched over to ram. I think the "big 3" are all pretty comparable, quality wise
I didn't hate my f150 supercab. But it's hard to find the supercrews with the 6.5 bed. And then they're just too big. And I got sick of the reverse quarter doors on my supercab .F150 with 220k miles and going strong. Truck has been a real tank. I bought it used.
Dodge Rams are supposed to be #1 in quality now, someone was just telling me.Ive done chevys my whole life. Just recently switched over to ram. I think the "big 3" are all pretty comparable, quality wise
When a moving truck becomes your daily driver don't be surprised if you're nicknamed gypsy! How's the move going Amber?Been driving a uhaul 15 foot truck. It’s freakin AWESOME! Comfortable and easy to drive.
I always wanted a little Jeep Commanche pickup, one of the sporty editions..Jeeps every day.
But I do have two old trucks also. A jeep and a gmc
As for new I like Dodge and Chevy for full-size. Or a Tacoma for a smaller one.
Good! We got here in one piece. It was smooth sailing besides the first day when hwy 40 was closed in NM. I had a panic attack trying to take an alternate route. I felt trapped with miles of barren wasteland all around . The alternate route wanted me to drive down a dirt one lane road with my car in tow after going a long way out of route. Then I had to back track and go back the opposite direction for like 60When a moving truck becomes your daily driver don't be surprised if you're nicknamed gypsy! How's the move going Amber?
that sounds exactly like my trip to NM..... omg it was desolate the entire way. Thank goodness I filled up the tank, it was like 100s of miles between civilization.Good! We got here in one piece. miles.so it took me an extra 2 hours and like 100 miles and I still wasn’t sure of the alternative alternative. rerouting . But I chanced it . I fucking despise NM. One more night in a hotel and then hopefully the new place is legit or it might get bouncy. Fingers crossed.
my 2009 5.3 is sitting in the driveway with a little over 185000 nothing wrong with it, my 2018 6.2 has 104,000 with a rebuilt jasper tansmission in it with 100,000 warranty.(my boss bought this truck brand new and let a worker drive this thing like he stole it) tranny went 100 miles after his 10year/100k warranty, i got the chance to buy it from him right after he fixed the tranny and this thing runs smooth!!! i had a dodge dakota 3.9 magnum that i loved, but exactly what grassburner said- electrical problems out the ass. couldnt kill the motor thoCan't go wrong with GM for a pickup. The LT engine series is sweet piece of machinery. I've mostly driven Chevrolet's my whole life, they just work. Whatever you get, get a v8. A v6 work truck is asking for issues down the road, they just have to work too hard. Dodge seems to have electrical issues, gave up on Fords after they went to the Triton motor powered trucks. I know they have the ecoboost now, but I don't trust them either I've got a 5.3 in my Trailblazer at around 200k, she purrs like a kitten and runs like a scalded dog
