Need a really fast answer please

lol I was kidding about tieing down the trichomes, and im not concered about the branches or it falling over, it has been threw some really heavy winds, and has a nice thick stalk to prove it, so im pretty sure it will be ok

My only concerns were the trichomes getting knocked off, and budrot. But I guess I was just being paranoid.

But I wonder why lougrew put all his plants inside when it rained?

The last rain I had here beat my plants down. At least the ones that weren't protected by my cover. We get a lot of rain that is that strong. That can do damage.

Damp conditions can also encourage gray mold fungus and force an early harvest. Excessive moisture is the perfect place for fungus.

well It is pretty sunny and about 82 degrees where I live, and also very windy. So hopefully the moisture shouldnt get to bad, also I dont think its going to rain, but forcast says its probably going to wednesday : (

My guess..is that if the resin is sticky enough to stick to your fingers, that it'll be sticky enough to stick to the plants. I think it's going to start raining up here (midwest) too. But i'm not worried about my plants too much since they're only seedlings. as for mold or anything, I don't know.

I don't worry until they are into last few weeks of flowering.

I heard somewhere also that after a good rain it's not a bad idea to go out and shake the buds off to get the excess water off. I apologize if someone already said this.

rain = water. water = weight. weight = broken branches.

it was the saddest thing i ever saw. we had a heavy rain, i was at work, came home and the weight of the water in the buds broke all my side branches. it looked stripped. 10 colas over 3' long just laying in the mud. water is very heavy and the plant is growing to support the weight of buds, not buds full of water.

my biggest problem with rain is broken branches due to excessive weight.

That's cause you grow those super massive 1 pound plants. I wish I had the problems of buds falling over due to the weight of rain and buds. Just messing with ya Fdd

Well my plants have about 2-3 weeks left... so I guess I can worry?

Thanks for all the great ideas, and hopefully it wont rain hard enough to break my branches fdd. My stems and stalks are extremely thick, and one of the stems coming off the main, is bigger then a penny, and its just a side one, so hopefully it will make it. If I think it is getting to heavy of rain however, I may try and built something. plenty of trees though above it, so hopefully they will break up the rain drops so they dont get hit to hard.
