Need a second opinion on my first grow

Hi, this is my first time growing and I just need a look from someone more experienced. I have 2 plants growing in MG potting soil and I water with just plain water. They are exactly 17 days old from the time the seed cracked open. I am currently using Four two-foot long T5 HO lights in the 6500k spectrum. I am planning on doing a small SCROG with these plants. The temperature averages about 24-28*C and I am using a fan to help with air circulation. I guess I am wondering how my plants look for 17 days old, if they look healthy and appropriate size. They are an Indica strain afghan kush I believe. I hope the attached pictures worked advice is greatly appreciated

They look pretty damn good. Right on track. I have that exact same T5 light. It's a damn champ after 2 years of near constant use.

Look good mate.A couple of tips.Dont be tempted to remove lots of leaves thinking you are letting light in to the plant.Not only does it severly stunt their growth in veg but in flower your buds need those leaves.Another thing,dont over water.You should only water every few days,and make sure theyre dry before watering.

Thanks for the reply I feel more confident in them now. When the time comes to flower can I still use the t5 lights but just buy 3500k bulbs?
