Need advice for small grow

There are tons of Tec and theories out there, but I'm wondering what the best grow would be for 2-3 plants, nothing crazy just for personal, I've got a couple books but am also looking for personal opinion, any advice is appreciated ✌

scrog, lst, small hid. my 2 cents
Details plz lol it's been about 2 years since my last grow and a lot of shit has changed , so I'm trying to catch up quickly. Its not like I've been under a rock lol but figured advice is always helpful. My last started really good, pretty old school as far as growing, yield was nothing spectacular hence the thread looking for newer better ways, something I can actually be proud of as anyone would want

hi. If you want more details then you need to give more details as well :D What strain will you be growing? what space do you have to work with? how's ventilation? And so and so forth. I'm not expert myself but this is basic stuff

EDIT: Pardon me I'm being an asshole. For a "first grow" I would suggest you make a google search for the "hempy bucket" method (it's drain to waste hydroponics, very easy). A cheap method for ventilation is pc fans; I bought some 80mm fans with 0.2 USD each, brand new. Make sure you mount the exhaust fans as far up as possible (because hot air rises) and the intake as low down as possible. More often than not you are better off with a passive intake. But keep in mind recirculating air above the foliage. Make air flow like a breeze don't just blast it with air because fan leaves will act as "brakes" and you will get negative results and lots of noise + electricity wasted. You can always go for a large fan and switch it to a lower speed setting. A bigger fan spinning slowly will move more air than a significantly small one at full speed and it will be a lot quieter... so keep that in mind. ScrOG means Screen Of Green: it's a form of low stress training and implies putting a net across your plants and you tie or bend the branches around it. This gives you great exposure to the light and it keeps your plants short and bushy. Do a search for "LBH 4-way LST" and it should explain things pretty clearly. 4 plants will fit in about 3x3 tent or if you're good with training you can put em in a 2x2. For that kind of horizontal area you can go for a 150 watt or 250 watt hps. Or COB leds. Leds are a bit more expensive because you need to get the led, the radiator and the drivers and in the end it won't be as good as an HID, but they are directional. it's up to you really. With a magnetic ballast you can save a lot of money and they will work well with both HPS and HID. You can use CFLs for veg but MH has a much better spectrum and are overall better light output = better for growing indoors and in greenhouse. This is pretty much all I know. Anything I left out?

I have a bean from a strain called blue knight which the flower it came drone was incredible and a couple of bagseeds, not really leaning on the bagseed too much lol but still gonna give it a shot I know how to germ and sex and all the simple shit like I said it's a been a while I'm using this as a warm-up if that makes sense, space is well itll be indoors about a 4ftx5ft area, not really something big again, this is at the moment all I cam work with, venting is good can always be changed and reworked in my opinion so not too worried bout that, looking for a method that'll produce nothing to crazy but still worthy of the work,

At least for now, id rather warm up small and work out the kinks, which I think everyone should do, alotta people try to big and end up failing, very few who do that succed. Its great to have ambition don't get me wrong but those who failed, failed big ya know? Stoned rambling haha sorry

2-3 plants, you wont need much room or lighting. most roll with a high pressure sodium, id get a 200-600 watt depending on how tall your growing them out, like said training the plant or a scrog is your best route for a good yield and a fully matured plant instead of letting bottom buds finish off for another 1-2 weeks. theres plenty of advice i could give but growin kind of a broad subject, off bat i could say be prepared for mites, have good means of preventing them(organicide, companion growin, etc). and dont overwater, they have a distinct droop before they really need a water and after they get watered, they should perk up if theyre doin good. letting them dry out well is best for root growth, keeps em lookin for water.

and keep a close eye for any discoloration or weird patterns, on leaves. theres too much advice to give in one post, its much better to be specific in the future on here, for instance, ask about each stage of growing, or something such as lighting, nutrients, strains, etc. theres just so much that goes that goes into it that are all pretty crucial, lookin at previous threads where the op asked the same question(its always bound to be out there) saves a lot of time too when you dont have any to spare.

Done a lot, tents, large spaces and everything in between. My preferences are a small cabinet with a 250 switchable for flowering 2 girls at a time. An even smaller cabinet with 3 T5 24" for veg growth and a cabinet smaller than the second for clones and seedlings with a single T5 24".

For me it is the best arrangement for strictly personal smoke, running 2 at a time on different harvest schedules. I utilize topping and LST. Every now and then I'll do 8 sog in place of a full blown plant. Variety is the spice of life.

Of course not haha, but maybe it would be good to have em ya know, the what not to do 's and the look out for this posts should exist, I think I would add a lot to the wide range of subjects around cannabis, any ways thanks for the vent advice that actually helped right away, and I think the scrog method would be ideal I've heard about it a lot, heard some people got crazy yields off only a couple plants, this is done in a box/tent right? I'm pretty crafty so if I can't find one making ones not a problem, should I maybe just research scrog?

You can buy em scrog screens from hydroponics stores :D they are made out of a material that can stretch and comes with hooks. So you can get a 2x2 feet and stretch it to 3x3. :D Like I said give a google search for LBH 4-way LST. Its perfect for scrog. it's what I'm doing right now with a Kush plant :D
