Need advice from experienced users plz about seeds.

So here's the issue. My mom bought me seeds cause I was bitching about my crop dying and not having the money to get my meds etc. Anyway she bought them on Monday and just told me this morning. It was supposed to be a "Supprise Gift". She gave me the tracking number and it says "Origin Post is Preparing Shipment" wtf does that mean. Now I'm totally freaking out... She ordered them in my name and is having them sent to my address. I think they are sitting in customs right now and I'm really in a panic... I don't know what she ordered, how many or how she had it shipped. I don't know shit other then she said they are being shipped here and she wouldn't tell me anything else because it's a "Supprise". I've never ordered seeds before but have ordered other shit that customs considers illegal or whatever so I'm worried a little bit... Do i have to sign for them usually... I don't know where she ordered from either... I'm tripping out right now. I had no knowledge of this until about an hour ago. I know when they take your shit they send you a letter... been through that before with other contraband but I'm worried cause I have no idea what she ordered. It could be 2 seeds it could be 100... My moms not the brightest person although I do have to say she is thoughtful for doing this just would have been good to know before hand... Anyway should I be worried and how long does it usualy take? Sorry I can't give more info this all I know.

Should probably add that she paid for it out of my medical trust fund account too. That's got me worried as well but nothing I can do at this point about it.

mine took 2 1/2 weeks. was tracking shipment then they 'disappeared' for almost a week. had me nervous. suddenly they showed up.

I would not be too concerned too much I know it is nerve racking still is to me at times. What has been recently happening with all our seed orders they get stuck in customs for days prior to shipmentto your doorstep. And just to give you a piece of mind if they do get confiscated all you get is the stealth items used for shipping from point of origin and a Homeland security letter. Maybe if you had thousands of seeds confiscated then maybe that could get ya in trouble.

Everything will be fine. Just hope she converted the prices to dollars. But yes first seed orders scare people. It's like your first bong. You where scared shitless on the drive home. Bet you didn't speed. But now a used pipe might be in reach.

to answer the op's question, the originating po is the po in your town.. it means that you will have your gear in a day or so...

Update - looking good so far... cleared customs in less then 24 hours and is half way here... Have a feeling that's a good thing

First of all, congrats on having such a good Mom. She's being sweet and supportive and trying to help. Maybe she knows that you just need this little push of getting new seeds to start your grow again and feel better. Give her a hug and say Thank You.

Don't worry about the post. The seeds I've gotten have always been shipped in very dull looking beige envelopes with a little bit of padding, and a non-descript return address. It screams BORING. Really, you'll laugh when it arrives. And you're not going to get in trouble for buying seeds. They're sent as "novelty" items. It's all going to be totally cool. As for time, I've always banked on 5 days or so for the breeder to receive my order and cash my money order, then another 10 days to two weeks for the order to make its way to me. 15-20 days would be normal. Maybe 30. I think the biggest risk is them just getting lost. But don't stress about it. This is SO not a big deal.

And give that Mom a hug. Hopefully she got you something really awesome. This may be your best grow ever...all because of her.
