Need advice on fan heater in tent

I have a 100x100x200 grow tent. Just put a ceramic fan heater in the tent as nights are getting cold. Is it safe to have the heater in the tent ?

I do this often. However admittedly I should be using a small oil filled radiator or convection heater.

The small heater fan creates super dry air that's causes the plant to dry out extremely quickly. I always ensure my fan heater points away from the pots bland make sure the air can travel some distance before being reflected of the tent side walls.

Hope this helps

Also sit in your room at the coldest point with the heater and turn it up from low and let it heat up and cut out at the required temp. It's an absolute ball ache so make sure you mark the position too.

Those thermostat controllers on the fan heaters a shockingly inaccurate.

Oil filled is the safest option. I would wake up at night worried if i had a ceramic heater in there

and never plug a heater into a power strip. directly into wall or with a properly rated extension cord (shortest length possilbe)

One of these tube heaters would do the trick. Unfortunately, they're sold out at the moment.
