I would use about 700 cfm carbon filter exhausted at about 350 cfm..
I prefer Phresh filters. They did better than CAN and Phat for me.
Replace every 9 months. Higher humidity means you will need to change it more often.
That is larger than most people do... but when I pull up to friends houses I smell it from driveway. That doesn't fly for me.
These numbers are for smell control. If you have heat issues and you plan to solve them with lots of exhaust then the numbers could change.
Air cooled hoods on a separate air circuit would be ideal.
In Illinois warm temps won't be as big of a problem. Skip July and August and you could prbly get by without aircooling your lights..
