Need advice on new grow (Mataro Blue and Pineapple express Autos)

Hey guys,

I am in for my second grow, first consisted of 2xBlue Himalayan, 2xEasy Rider and 3x Onyx. It worked out pretty well, but i was still constructing the room during the start of the grow so the yield suffered a bit. My buddy and I had a pretty relaxed time doing it, picked up some local soil, and added molasses and some flowering nutes (canna bio flora). We had some pretty bad nute burn, but it may have been nute deficiency from ph lockout because we couldn't monitor our pH.

Current Plants, all autos:
3x Pineapple Express (Barneys)
5x Mataro Blue (Kannabia)
Setup: 400w HPS, S&P TD125, room is like 5x5x5 ish
The temps run around 83 or lower generally with the humidity staying at about 45%.

For nutes we are thinking the general organics go box. This would be nice as we do not have a way of continually monitoring the ph and have heard with this line it is not needed.

Here's my questions;

1) We are looking for a simple soil mix, perhaps some worm castings, dolomite lime and some other additives, I would love everyones opinion on this as we need to transplant next week (they are currently in dixie cups). We only have access to the major chain stores such as Canadian Tire, Rona, Home Depot etc so the best soil we could find is the organic pro mix that comes in the blue bales. Ideally we would have liked to go with a water only organic mix, such as subcools soil, but we did not have the time or resources.

2) when should we stop feeding veg nutes and begin flowering? At the first sign of white hairs?

I appreciate any help or input on these strains and setup I can get. I'm still new at this however I have lurked these forums pretty agressively and my friend does it non stop so we have some good background knowledge.

P.S. Mataro Blue is not a true Auto, we have emailed the breeder with no response asking about the best photoperiod to use. It is supposed to flower under 14/10 so the yield from the pineapple will probably suffer a bit. This is more just a fun project than actually trying to go all out crazy (I still wanna do the nutes and soil correct tho)

how does this sound for a very basic soil mix?
15% Perlite
15% Earth Worm Castings
1.5% Dolomite Lime
3% Kelp meal or bat Guano

If you go to Kannabia site they have the information on their autos.
I don't know about their autos but i grew the reg Matero Blue 2x and it is killer.

People were selling their blue dream to buy some.
People still ask me about that blue strain i had.
I plan on growing it again......but so many breeders and so many strains.

Thanks! Yeah i've heard great things about mataro blue, i just hope those qualities are still in the auto version. I havent found too many reports on kannabia gear, especially their autos. What soil and nutes were you using?
