Need advice on setup.

Hey guys been lurking here for a while lots of awesome information just want to thank you guys ahead of time. ok here we go I need advice if this is a safe setup I plan to raise my lights to the highest part of my cab and put a glass window few inches below it. My exhaust is already at the top so bascially i wanna make itlike an air cooled hood with a 4inch pc fan intake getting air from the cab which pulls air from the bottom of the cab. Also i will be hanging the flooring of it with thick chain so I can move it up and down as the plant progresses. My cab is made of some kind of wood with 2 coats primer and 2 coats flat white. So will this setup work or will it still be too much heat i been trying diff setups the one I have there gets me around 84F

lotta variables to consider. but anythings possible. people have grown with much less. but what light are you using. are you planning on just using one 4 in pc fan for exhaust. any intake. how tall is the cabinet. know what strain your growin. will the floor support a pot if its going to be suspended. is the cabinet light proof. ...plan it and then just try it. youll never know till ya try.

You could grow a plant in there. I don't think it'll reach its full potential, but you can grow in there. Everybody needs to start somewhere. Just add on and refine you setup as you go. My grow cab/closet has gone through several changes over the last couple years haha. More than anything though, I strongly recommend you check and double check and make sure your set up is as fire proof as you can make it. Be safe with your grow!

Hey thanks for all the responses the cab is 5 feet tall I was planning on scrogging next grow so height wont matter anyways and the floor will be supported with eye hooks and chains and 2 2x4s adjustable by 2 screws. I have a 4in inline fan as an exhaust the one that htg sells for cheap and i was going to buy the 20$ 200 cfm 4 in pc fan from hidhut to put as an intake in the corner of the glass panel my main thing is making sure the chamber with the light is cool enough to not catch on fire cause its a 400 watt hps i got plans for a bigger grow area just cant yet not till i buy another house which will hopefully be soon

yeah then what you have will defiantly do i got the 6in htg fan and i have zero complaints. ran it 24/7 for a while nice n smooth.

ive seen some killer cabinet grows with great success especially scrogging. im making a scrog screen outta pvc pipe and chicken wire and its pretty simple basic stuff.

how loud is the 6 inch I made a box for my 4 inch and I can still somewhat hear it. I cant wait to try scrogging I'm gonna make a screen that can move up and down with the floor out of light weight metal that I used to mount my light with a bunch of eye hooks set at 11/2 inch and thick guage fishing line so that way I can easily cut it got the idea from this site actually
