Need advice please 1st grow

I am growing only the one plant i was given thr seed from my sister which she got from a shop in Amsterdam i didnt actually know anything about growing any kind of plant so at first i just put it under a very low watt cfl and it was in my bedroom table for almost 6 months so as you can imagine it didnt grow very tall or bushy infact it lost alot of lower fan leaves quite early on. Since the lockdown and me being furloughed i took to reading up on growung cannabis this led me to find out the plant needs tlc which i have been trying do.

So finally i set up a very small grow room on a budget might i say and i found i really enjoy the process of growing plants.

My set up details as much as i can provide.

1x1.5 sqm canopy only 1 plant
Lights 100w led full spectrum grow light and a very small 40w grow light which is what i ordered before finding out i didnt have a strong enough bulb for plant (when i measure light in my grow room with a wand tjat measures soil ph etc it says Normal+

I am having a big issue with soil ph which is coming out at 5.5 even though i fed nut solution and ph it to 7.0 as previous run off ph was 5.3 so i tried to remedy with a higher solution ph.

I also have a big issue with humidity it keeps creeping up and this morning it was 59% i dont have money for a proper degumidifier so i bought the 360 aero dehumidifier but doesnt seem to be making a difference at all i am not switching my heater on and just having lights on to see if this will help also but i dont know how to fix this either.

I think my plant is really struggling i am entering 5th week of flowering today buds look ok for size of plant i am surprised she is budding at all seeing as she was in what i now know as a vert stressfull environment for cannabis plants but i did not know anything at the time.

The leaves are brown around the edges this inly affects the fan leavesno problems with the sugar leaves. If pics are needed i can upload. I have learnt alot but i know there is still a hell of alot still to learn but i will.only get better with practice. I just would like a bit of advice on how i ctan remedy these problems so i can finish my 1st grow without my little lady dying i will add some details below of stats of plant that i have collected over last few months.

Soil measurments
Ph 5.5
Light normal +
Temp 20°
Moisture wet ( i only watered yesterday afternoon)

Recently waterd with a mix of 2ml calmag 2ml big bud solution ph going in was 7.0 and run off was 6.5 battery came for my wand this morning and soil ph had gone back down to 5.5.

Any other info needed to try and help me out here i am a complete novice and in desperate need of advice.

I forgot i also have an oscillating fan on most of the time i do however turn it off over night as i think plant might need a bit if peace but if i am wrong to do this.

Also bought a cheap tds meter and tested ppm solution measured at 275 and pom run off measured at 263. I am not confident with these measurments as i thought it would be alot higher and i assumed it was meantto measurein 4 digits??

Do you check your water ph beforeadding nutes or after.cause adding nutes changes the ph. Also after mixing your water with nutes you should wait a few before testing ph

Yeah i check ph before mixing nutes my water is usually 6.8 to 7.0 then when i mix nutes i test again and use ph up or down to get solution to ph 6.5 then i water and test ph of run off it has been at 5.3 so i upped last ph to 7 the run off frim that was 6.5 but when i tested soil with a probe today said ph was 5.5 so its gone down again some parts of soik were as low as 5.0. I am havinga major problem with humidity going up to 61 and i dont understand why.

Other than the plant being small I don't see much wrong with it. Stop chasing runoff pH in soil. Compensating to make the runoff match a certain number is a path to problems. Just pH what you feed and forget about the runoff pH. That plant looks healthy. If there was a problem with the soil pH the plant would tell you not some pH meter testing runoff.

Using runoff to test soil pH is not an accurate way to measure. Soil has amendments and you're adding nutrients. You have no idea what's in the runoff that's been washed out of the soil. Different substances have different solubility and different pH. When it's all combined in the soil the pH at the root zone is going to be different than the runoff. Just pH when you water or feed to 6.5 and call it a day.

If it were me, I would cut clones now and try to start a successful second run. 6 months of vegging and that’s the biggest it got? I wouldn’t imagine things getting any better, especially with that light. You might have a decent strain on your hands, would suck for this to be the only chance it has to be something special. Let us know if you’re interested in getting clones from it. I’m sure the advice and recommendations will be endless.

Are there any grow stores where you live? There’s really only 1 thing you need to increase the chance of the clone rooting without spending too much money.

It’s called clonex. It’s a gel that helps stimulate root growth. But to use it the right way you would need some jiffy pellets or rock wool cubes inside of a humidity dome. You could easily make a homemade dome with a 2 liter bottle, milk jug, etc. Some have found success by just letting the cutting sit in a cup of water. I get 100% success rate, but I have a few things that you would probably only be able to get online considering where you live.

I have found a hydroponics store just next to me so i am looking for clonex jiffy pellets and a humidity dome
I have made a dome already using a zip sealed food bag trying to grow chilli. I also got an empty butter tub which i could put a bit water in tben a yogurt pot which would sit above the butter pot and i could plant clone in the yogurt pot and use a fruit basket as the dome it already has holes in and i could tape over any holes that arent required...would that work?
