Need Advice... :)

Hey all, got a new room on the go. All is lookin pretty good so far. Dose any1 know if 200 watts of florecent lights will make a big difference on my power bill? I pay the landlord, so would love to know... 4 white widow from seed, lookin real nice, first time try... thanks all.

I'm gonna need to use more light to flower, so I keep readin. or can I get a good yeld with florecent only? I would like to keep a low profile... thanx for the help.

You can definitely flower with CFLs. The warm light variety are better for flowering. HIDs would probably give you a better yield, but may make a little more noticeable increase on your electricity bill... Hope everything works well. Do you have a journal or thread with pics?

I just got on the site today, so once I figure it all out I'll get some on here. I have 1 other question. I put 2 babies in 1, 4 gallon pot when I started. Will they make it, it's 2 weeks now and they're crazy growin, but I don't want to touch them. The other 1's are in proper pots, by themselfs. ty.

no u shud have 1 plant to one pot mate, 2 plants ion 4 gallon pot, they will most deffinately die, root tangle will kill em , separate at once

there u go some constructive advice finally, loud. in the future i'll try too ask less stupid questions, LMAO. if u have any good advice i'd be happy to hear it... my space is only 2 ft w, by 4 ft l, by 5 ft h... i have 4 40 watt 4 ft tubes, 2 grow lux @ 2 warm white. also 1 150 watt cfl warm white. so a little more than 200 watts, 310 either way thanks again... lata.

if your worried about electricity getting too high....battle or balance it out. For example, most house/homes use 60 watt incandescants.... and ALOT of them... if you replace all the bulbs with 13watt CFLs you will DRAMATICALLY cut down on power usages.

just pay attention to basic things....

and big shay...dont take it personal man...i didnt mean anything by it. i just think when we start doing 'illegal' things, we tend to stop thinking and get paranoid. we automatically think because our power bill goes up that we will get caught because "WE" know that we're growing so that makes us paranoid and scared. when that same power increase on the bills can happen very easily when your not growing. and you tend to think about it when you do something illegal.

yea lol go buy 600w Mh and 600w hps, only 85 quid!!!, or u could steal constructioin site lights there MH some of em are anyway

hey big shay, my first grow i used cfl's, the buds came out pretty dank but not too chunky, you def need some hps shit to make chunky budz, but if cfl's are the only thing you can run without sketchin out your landlord than you will be fine, maybe start the veg inside and finish outside...
