i have two auto seeds that im planning on doing outdoors i was just wondering as its my first time growing outdoors would i be best of germinating the seeds and letting them start off life under a light indoors or just let them grow outside from the very start.

either way. just a little safer from elements starting inside. I threw a random seed in the garden a week ago and she's up and doing great. lol She's not on my list and quota this year so will probably get hacked or taken by one of my million gophers here.

like others have said animals love seedlings... if you could grow it to 6" it will increase its odds of survival

Oddly enough, my very first grow 15 years ago was sowing seeds directly into the ground...took 3 weeks to see results watering twice daily.

Never tried that again despite my early success.

I recommend germing indoors under 18 or even 20 hours of CFL, then transplant outdoors. By May, your daylight hours will keep them vegging until your autos become mature.
