So, how long do males need to flower before they pop? I have one other plant flowering in the same box that has yet to show sex.

It has to actually show a flower first, but after you see a yellow flower, within 24 hours it could be dropping pollen. If that was the question.

So males have hanging balls....and females have hairs that stick up...

Get rid of them immediately upon identifying unless you want seeded buds. That definetly is a male
