it is the stuff they use on pipes
it will work for IR proofing with the foam to the wall and shiny part in it should work for that (foam and wall make a air barrier so the heat from inside is not transfered to the wall
as for the refelective and all that ..............no clue theory should be fine and some where in the 80-90% refelective
