need anwser, lighting, confused!

Im running 2200 hps, first time, everything's to spec, seedlings under 600. everything started out very slowly until I was at Lowes this weekend and decided to try to use these red and blue flood lights for a seedling cabinet I'm constructing. Well I tried them out and let me say, within two days, I have an inch of growth and I don't even recognize these ladies! Its great!!!

Now, what's wrong with my HPs that it wasn't able to achieve this? Over a 6x3 table, 16" off, were they too close? I know it different spectrum but geez? Two 65 watt colored floodlights out preforming a HP's???

I wouldn't believe it either but the proofs in the pudding, can somebody elaborate on how this is even possible??? do I need new bulbs???

2200 HPS what? how many hps lights are you using? and having a 600watt hps 16" away on seedlings is way too much.
seedlings will grow a set or two of leaves and then slow for a few days because they are working on roots before they enter into veg. clf or folesents would be better to use on them for the first 2 wk. then into the 600 watt veg room

it seems like the HPS bulb is past life efficiency, and look doll and white all of a sudden not glowing yellow.

I was just curious about these colored lights I'm looking more into it but if anyone has any knowledge did like to share especially about the spectrum and how it works I'd appreciate it
