Does anyone have a good way to make a small carbon filter that can be used with a rubbermaid tub? I have the pc fans already. Any help would be great...

The Blue Mystic plant I have is starting to really smell the room up..lol

This gets tricky. Computer fans dont pull or push well with resistance.. I'm experimenting right now but having heat issues, as less air is being moved due to the filter. I boxed my fan in and made a pannel-type filter to sit over. Im now running 2 fans. the second is boxed in the exit side of the first fan.. kind of an assist program. gave me almost a 10 degree cool off though and no odor. Construcing a custom filter to work for you set up is a difficult trial and error process. one I wish I had tested b4 the grow.......... grr

My first trial was a mini version of the big ones these guys make on here. it failed but is neat none the less.

Not to say this would work for you but a small squirrel cage might be worth looking into.

That would allow more forceful airflow and thus be able to push air threw the filter, and having it on your exhaust would in theory give your box a negative airflow further adding to the smell proofing.
