For a good small cabinet grow video that has just gotten off the ground, check fozzythemexican on youtube. If you must be the shoebox type of CFL bulb person, then I would refuse to use any bulb under 42 watts. Lets say you use a total of 8 of these bulbs by taking them out of your grand dads house sockets eh? Anyway, personally, I do not think plants like these things pointed straight down on them, like vertical, because the tip of the bulb is the hot part of the heat emission of the bulb. So say you also get four gold colored single sockets, four Y plastic screw in adaptors that let you run two bulbs on one chord, if you can run your cab five or six feet high like a phone booth or closet wood frame with plastic, then you can screw metal hooks into wood at the ceiling and loop the chord with a wooden clothes pin, the clothes pin just lets you pinch the chord at any given height so you hang the light from the hook and adjust the HEIGHT OF THE LIGHT AS NEEDED EASY!
You will be running about 336 watts and get enough lumens to put SOMETHING under there. But whatever you put I would use Uncle Bens Topping Technique at a young age and start training horzontally to grow like a vine similar to trainwreck. Some use fish weights or christmas ornaments to weight the branches comming out of the nodes down and this lets you train a plant without resorting to the mutilation of supercropping but getting nice horziontally trained growth without the branches traveling out of the growth nodes colliding as they would do a mid air collision when stretching upward in a tree or bush shape under such weak top lighting.
