Need Electrical Advice

Hello all, I need some electrical advice. I am based in UK and trying to buy a "high torque 50 watt dc motor". It is to drive a DIY tumble trimmer like Toms Tumble Trimmer 1900. It needs to be variable speed to around 35 RPM. I may need some kind of speed adjuster or adapter as well, as I said I am clueless with electrics.

I have looked on Ebay and Amazon and it is a minefield. When I type in "high torque 50 watt dc motor" I get motors ranging from 3 quid to 300. I have just taken the specs of Toms Tumbler website there is no more info.

UK voltage is 240. Any help in what I need would be greatly appreciated.

There are too many unknowns about the motor to give you a definite answer. Your best bet is a replacement motor for that model.
