If I harvested pollen from a true male Plant and stored it in an air tight container how long would that pollen stay viable?

Thanks in advance for any answers

There are a few variables with the viability of pollen. One is reducing the moisture content and another is temps. Generally speaking, pollen is only viable for a few days at room temp. If you keep it dry and in an air tight container it can last you for quite a while. If you use some kind of desiccant and ensure its moisture free, then you can store it in the freezer forever. Now thats bonemans tech version, on the personal side, keep it in them containers for however long you wish and you'd be surprised how long it keeps. :) I do think it degrades but reproduction is nature. Ever hear of shrimp in the desert after a rain? Ever hear the term "its raining fish"?

Read up on pollon storage and do what you can to ensure the pollenation is successful.

Hey Robert if you really didn't have an answer to my thread then don't use it to boost your posts count. and FYI I did look alot plus used the search for storing pollen and as most people know the search rarely shows you what you are looking for,

Thanks dude, but trust me I am no expert in pollen storage. I'm too lazy to do that at this point.

Hopefully someone that crosses will chime in and give you better first hand information. Theres a dude in the forums named SOMEBEECH that would be of assistance to you. Try and find him and send a PM. He also has a thread on here....let me see if I can find the link...here ya go. https://www.rollitup.org/indoor-growing/134446-ak-47x-juicy-fruit-42.html
