Need good advice please.

My "friend" has 1.2 x 1.2 x 2m set up. 9 cheese plants under 2 x 600watt hps. They have just completed 21 days veg from clone. They were fim a week ago. They range from 12 inches to 16 inches. They have very many pre flowers, roots coming from the pot 11l and alternating nodes. His desired outcome is at least 3oz per plant. The question is, should he flower now or wait another 7 days? If he puts them into flower now, will they grow enough to yield this amount? Advice will be greatly apreciated.

He should flower when the plants have covered 90% of the (horizontal) grow area.


Also 11l pots isn't very big... bigger pots = more buds

Do you feel he will get 3oz a plant? They seem pretty good from what i can tell, not that im an expert, how tall do you think he will get them? Hes thinking maybe get the 3.5 - 4ft as hps bulbs are very hot anf wants to ensure enough distance from the lamps.

Without pictures it's impossible to guess yeild.

All I can suggest is using the biggest pots you can fit in the grow area and giving it enough veg time to fill the grow area.


No one will be able to say "Yes you will get 3oz per plant".


All you can do is try to maximise what you have.
