Need help asap!

Hi everyone how we all doing tonight. I have just been given a wonderfull gift from a friend whos mum found his grow operation and has given me two 3 weeks year old plants one is white widow unsure of the other. he has given me a light with two Eco Light bulbs one blue 250 watt 230 v 50HZ and Red 300watt 2700k 220-250v. two large pots to transphere out of small pots and a large bag of biobizz soil ph 6.6. I only have an area underneath a staircase to use with the light resting against a slanted roof any advice would be perfect as i have just got these and need to set it up within the next three hours before my wife gets home!

Ok thank you. how long to i leave the lights on and any advice about the removal to a larger pot. how long so i do veg stage for. and last for a room my size will these lamp reach high temps will i need to hang from roo also roof is slanted.

Foil on walls can produce hot spots and burn plants, so dont do that You need to get a decent temp gauge and monitor the room temps. Keep it between 70 and 80 degrees, closer to 70 is better. Give them light 18 hours a day and do not over water them(first mistake rookies make is over watering) A fan in there would help greatly for many reasons. Do yourself a huge favor and read on this forum till your thumb turns green! Use the search function every time you have a question as most questions have been covered here many times in great depth. one last thing any advice on how to block out the light so it cant be seen from outside the door and it looks likes a nuke is going of everytime you walk past the door

1. I do 24/0 for veg.
2. Many guides exist on transplanting that do a better job than i could trying to explain it off hand real quick. I'll get you a link or 2.
3. how much room you got? how large do you want the plants to be in the end? during the stretch phase of flowering your plant will get around 3 times bigger than it was when it started the stretch phases of flower.
4. No tinfoil. White paint or a emergency blanket or reflective mylar or black white poly would work. I'd get some black white poly and then do a layer of it inbetween the grow area entrance and the door so no light can get in, or out, really its light getting in you need to worry about. Velcro works pretty good for keeping your new light blocking wall in place. Im not a big fan of poly as a reflective material lining the walls though, i prefer white paint.
5.(i know im kinda answering them out of order, lol) What do you plan to do ventilation wise? if youve got a good exhaust fan you should be fine, you'll also want a circulation fan in the area blowing on the plants. You'll want to have 2 passive intakes each the size of the exhaust.

havent even though about exhaust do i really need one what cheap way can i make or get one?

Im using a space about 1.3meters tall with a slanted roof about 1.5 meters deep should i hang the lights or have it standing. i also have carpet in that room should i take it up incase of over heating.

heres one, i dont use nutes when first watering during transplant but the rest is pretty much right. It was alot harder to find one that was good than i thought it would be.

def take out the carpet when u can..Also if u can keep a fan blowing inside u wont need vent if ur trying to hide it just open it a few times a day if u can to get fresh air in there(its what i have to do)..GL bro

hang the light horizontal over the plant. Can you cut ventilation holes at all? w/a 250w or 300w cfl in a 4 ft tall by 4 1/2 ft wide(rough estimate conversion, lol) I think you may need ventilation. Cfls may run cool compared to an hps, but the key part is compared to hps, they still put out a good deal of heat. I learned that the hard way. lol. its also possible just the circulation fan + opening the cab every once in a while will work. It's worth a shot, just make sure you check often and do not let the temps get too high. My cut off point is 95f before i start to see heat problems but thats with really good fresh airflow and venting. If you start to see heat stress you'll have to lower the temps. i'd guess around 90+ in your case here but that is in the end just an educated guess.
