Advanced nutrients isn't by canna... Thanks anyways but I will wait for bob.My knowledge is very limited but I'm using AN from Canna and the seasoned stonner at the hydro store told me to use between 3-4ml of A and 3-4ml of B...
Well, It is meant to induce trichome maturity...I would recommend it 100%!hey SLB. i've seen some talk bout people putting their plants in 36 hours of darkness before harvesting. would you recommend this? what does it do for the plant?
You think you can post a pic of how you wired it up?question...i have a 175w wall mount mh light fixture with ballast and cap in 1 unit but its not wired up.its a multi tap ballast was wired for 277 when i got it.. I switched it to 120v and connected my common n ground to a 16gauge cord.i plugged my 175w bulb n connected to power but nothing happens....wat did i do wrong...i know my bulb work cause i plugged it to my 1k ballast set up real quick and it turned on....so maybe i wired the light fixture wrong...its a cooper light 175w multi tap trans type-cwa lp type m57...
Its got 2 whites coming out of trans named com...1 com connects to the socket the other connects to com from cord..do i got to connect all com together maybe??

Check out ebay, you can probably get some good deals on there, maybe be able to buy materials in bulk!Okay and would you know were i could get this stuff u said cheap?? i dont wanna go broke haha.. Cuz we were gonna gut the rooms and re-super insulate the rooms and put each plant in a 5 gallon bucket from start 2 finish does that sound like a good idea??

You can check out the AN nutrient calender, just adjust it to your specifics and it'll tell you exactly what to do! http://www.advancednutrients.com/hydroponics/calc/Hey Bob! Since I see you are using advanced nutes I thought I would hit you up with a question. I have just switched over to AN from Canna and am about to give my vegging girls a dose of sensi grow a/b. I know it is a two part nutrient that you mix together into your water but what I am unclear on is the dosage. AN says to use 4 ml per L throughout veg. Would that be 2 of a&b for a total of 4ml, or 4ml of a and 4ml of b? I will only be staring out at 1/4 strength as it is but want to make sure I get the proper amounts figured. One last question, what is your favorite song of bob's?
The pics aren't working! But from what you told me, and if it is the very botom leaf, it is perfectly normal...Hey! i need some help im a first timer and started from a seed, the plants are doing ok in growth but the bottom leaf on the biggest plant is changing color, right now its bright green and its getting alittle yellowy, i grow in soil and use t5 setup. and i havent used any nutrients yet. any idea what i can do before its to late?

Amount of watt depends on the stage of the plant, but during flowering I would recommend around 140watts per plant...and spectrum matters very much, you can use both, but it's generally cool for vegging, and warm for flowering...wat wattage of florescent light should u use ? and do they make and do u use both cool and warm florescent lights or does it matter?
I usually poke and loosen up the rootball when I transplant...When I'm re-potting into a larger pot should i gently break up the root ball once i take it out of the smaller pot or just place it as is into the larger pot? Im worried about damaging the roots but at the same time they're so compacted at the moment that if i just put the plant into a bigger pot without doing it now they might not even grow out into the extra space.
As long as you're not in flowering, it shouldn't do any harm...It must be really hot where you are, 475 cfm's and an A/c and you're still having heat troubles...Misting to control humidity and temp
I am having a temp and humidty problem because of location. I am misting and successfull but was wondering if misting this much can cause any problems or slow growth?
I am running
-1000 watt mh air cooled with a 475 cfm blower exhaust
-CO2 level between 1300 - 1800
-5000 BTU window unit with 8inch insulated ducting as intake to room
-Misting/feeding with RO
Humidity/Temp without misting is 35%/90deg
Humidity/Temp with misting once/twice an hour is 44%-47%/79deg-82deg
Im in week 3 of veg running GH base nutrients. Growth and plants are green and look good but just concerned with the amount of misting. I will attach pics soon. Thanks
I have to agree with the guys, 1/2lb. seems right...you're not even half-way through flowerin, you still have A LOT of filling out to do!I started this plant way back in April from seed and has been flowering for about 3 weeks now. Out of my 7 plants, this one isn't the tallest, but it is the fullest and healthiest. It's about 6' tall and receives a good 6-7 hours of direct sunlight a day. Not sure about genetics, its from an outdoor mix pack, but I'm thinking it's about 50/50 indica to hybrid.
What do you guys think the yield of a plant like this could be if everything goes well? I've showed this picture (from today) to a couple of my friends and they are saying like at least 1/2lb. I'm optimistic, but skeptical that it could yield so much. I not sure a lot of people are really aware of how much 1/2 lb actually is!
