I cannot remember exactly why but it is something I'm fairly certain of. I'd say that most everyone I see using distilled usually has some problem.

With the cost being the same I just don't understand the hesitance. RO filtered water is superior. I really need to find the thread I learned that from years ago.

Just asking. I don't use them at all. Ro cost less about .35 a gal. gets expensive with a home unit I think. And slow as hell. I never got the hang of adding everything back in.

I wont always use distilled....just for starting seeds. Once the seedling is a few weeks old I think the water you buy in the 5 gallon jugs is RO water and should work great. I have read on this also and your tap water that is run through an RO system contains minerals taht wont be in distilled water. Distilled water loses thoses mierals in the heating process.

no real brains needed. just research every basic thing there is to know and you will be fine

I don't ever germinate my seeds & I have been growing hybrids for years. anyone growing only fem because they dont wanna deal with males is losing out on alot of great strains and i wouldnt take there advice when it comes to growing. specially if a few males can sway them from never growing regular seeds.
