Hey everyone. I'm looking for suggestions on a lighting issue I have. I'm going to be upgrading my tent size as well as my lighting. I've been using a viparspectra 600w and had decent yields out of a 4x3x6 tent, but the yield was lacking.
For my first run in the new tent, I'm going to stay small and put 4-6 autos (bruce banner #3) under a 315 cmh with a trellis net using some very moderate low stress training (just going to bend the main stalks a bit to cover more of the trellis).
For my next grow (once I see money saved by yield vs cost to upgrade) I'm going to be looking to grow more out of the tent.
Would you recommend 1 more 315w cmh for a total of 2 in a 5x5, or would you widen the light footprint by using something like, say, 4 qb96's formingn a square around the cmh fixture. Or would you use some sort of other LEDs instead of the qb96s like light bars?
