So I've been growing for around 3 years now so I definitely know my shit. Thing is I've never had any sort of bug problem so this is all new territory for me and I'm completely clueless.
So, I'm going to try to explain this as thoroughly as possible and hopefully some of you experienced people will be able to point me in the right direction at least.
These plants are in my veg room. Vegging for around 3 1/2 weeks now. All 24 affected. Most of the affected leaves are at the bottom of the plants, though there are a few random leaves towards the top that are affected. This makes me think the bugs started from the bottom and are working up. The damage looks like little dark/some white spots on the leaves and there's also that shiny shit on them that I've read about before. Almost looks like a trail of shiny bug shit.
Anyways, there actually isn't many of them but the bugs look like little white larvae. To me they look like tiny gnat larvae but I was under the impression that gnats don't do damage to your plants. I've had a pretty bad gnat problem as of late. Lots of adults flying into my traps. They're covered in them. Could these be the gnat larvae starting from the soil and working their way up my plants? Is this the classic start of a spider mite infestation? They look nothing like spider mites from what I've seen. Like I said, little white larvae. The more mature ones look like little white flies without wings. Much longer than they are wide.
I'll attach some pics to show the damage. Like I said, most of it is at the bottom of the plants with the rest of the plant looking normal and growing normally. This could just be a little nute burn with the bugs not affecting anything, but I doubt that.
Any help would be appreciated.
