I am sorry for your losts. Even more sorry leaving you clueless why it happened so you may jump into the same river someday… you fed? Or how did you treat that, watering habits, runoff managment, nutrients, source water, medium, temp/RH, size of pots… be specific and try to provide numbers to show how your environment and treatment look like. Maybe it will make some hint.
- Durban poison genetics by Nirvana seeds
- Non-ammended organic soil by Xpert nutrients light mix.
- 7 gallon fabric pots since 3 weeks before 12-12 cycle
- Watering with tap and filtered water without PH-ing
- BioBizz liquid nutrients (biogrow, biobloom and algamic) on half the recommended dose, 7-14 weeks apart
In flower I fed the first 3 weeks for 3 times with half strength N nutrients (biogrow), and for the next 2 weeks it was fed with only bloom and calmag nutrients). Then the yellowing started to happen and I fed it 1/3 strength N nutrients for 3 times in the next 10 days until today.
- Grow room conditions: 25-27 / 18-20 degrees C day/night temps with ~50-60% RH (sub 50 during the day and around 50 during night time)
- 600W HPS with constant airflow
- Sidenotes: this plant was supercropped midway through veg and 2 weeks before flower it had some insect infestation on the fan leaves by small white larvae that caused some stress.

So it is not organic soil but pre-fertilized “promix” like medium (peat, perlite, ferts and most likely lime even they are not listing it) so it is basicaly soilless and same like all light mixes. I am not familiar with biobizz nutrients, but skim check on their schedule you need like 4 bottles to get ballanced food. You use tap (EC?) and filtered water (osmosis?) and when you feed where is your EC at? You had bugs, do you have some in your medium? You have separate bottle of calmag? 7 Gal of prefertilized light mix can last weeks without any need of food. I think you have fucked up feeding, overloaded and caused lockout… thinking shes deficient

You were correct, it has hermied.
Im hopeful it hasnt pollenated the other plant in the flower room, I'll need to monitor it closely now.

What am I to do with the hermiated plant? Is harvesting now a viable option?

She has already released polen and since you have found seed, you might be sure the polen is viable, that means once the calyx get polinated, it start to focus its energy towards making seeds. Bad thing at least for me, coz quality sucks. If you are able to find all nanners and stay above them, you may want to reach harvest window. I saw like 3 nanners in the buds you have posted, so there will be much more than the top shit crown you have openned. You have 2 plants and pull down half of your grow hurts,I know that I needed to pull down 3 of 4 of my plants last run so take it easy, worse things happening. Honestly If it was my plant, at this stage how it looks, I would trash it and plant another, unless you want seeds which can possibly carry the hermie traits, or you want “feminized” seeds on your healthy plant… good luck dude

Thanks mate,

Although there are visible nanners on 3-4 colas, Im sure there are more underneath.
I quarantined the plant for the time being, but as the air circulation in the flower room was high im pretty sure in all these days time the other plant has been pollenated as well.
At this point I can finish the "healthy" one and see what kind of an end-product I get.
For the nanner one I guess I can try to remove all nanners but its probably still gonna focus all of its energy in producing more so probably not worth it.
Would the buds if harvested now, be good for edibles at least? Or the cannabinoid profile wont be developed enough to provide a pleasant high (i know early harvests give a short and racey high)

I also have quite a few clones from the plant on which i was relying on. That sucks, hopefully its not a genetic predispotion but rather my miscare and excessive stress.

It is most likely due to stress so do not worry about clones unless you plan to give them same treatment as for now, than it will be same scenario. The plant after dry will be nonsmokable headache and I doubt you can make some working edibles of it. Few seeds here and there is not such a disaster, if you have restricted resources it might be quite fine. So if you see some polinated calyxes on your healthy plant it does not mean, that she stops flowering. She will develop the seeds but still produce same quality buds as unpolinated. But Fully polinated plant full of seeds or even worse undeveloped seed pods is trash imo if you want great smoke product. If you can try to finish her and than pick the seeds out before you gonna smoke it, but just in case you are able to control nanners not jizzing all around, you do not want have it everywhere in your house. You need 6 weeks for developing the seeds BTW.

I know this may be a stupid question but, what about leaving the nanner plant in darkness for a few days? Would that do anything for maturing the buds and trichomes, or would it just try to complete its seeding?

It is already pregnant
Just finish it
Weed with seeds still gets you there
Darkness is bs

It will be another stress to the plant with no beneficial effect. You can finish her without special expectations and at the end you might be surprised. If you are out of weed you will smoke it anyway I think.
