Need Help Diagnosing

Hey guys, I’m a new grower here and need help with diagnosing some stuff. I’ve deffinetly been watching a ton of tutorials on how to diagnose issues but this may be a combo. So, I’ve got 4 plants in total (one is not shown) and I started them out following the advice of someone from Home Depot. They knew what I was growing and recomended potting soil. I had the plants in potting soil for a few weeks and they just kept retaining so much water. I had been using light nutrience from “Black Magic” and it seemed to be doing ok, then growth kind of stopped and they seemed a little droopy. The biggest plant is an unknown strain, but the rest are Fruit Haze, a sativa. the sativas are all in jiffy soil sprouting pods. Once I realized I had potentially made a big mistake with the soil, I went back to Home Depot and now have made a recirculating hydroponic drip system with a 140gph pump in a 8 gal resivoir. The plants were transplanted to a coco/perlite mix and have had a drip constantly draining through the plants. My nutrient solution is now at the standard setting (5ml of each A&B solution by Black Magic) and my ph was measured at 6.1 ish and ppm at about 600 I believe, there is definetly some water coloration issues from the draining coco. I have a filter system keeping debris from the pump.

Now you guys are up to date, it has been about one day now on the drip system, ill show pics soon.

Here is the new hydroponic setup, the lights are some grow lights i picked up at Home Depot as well (you can tell I like Home Depot) they are at the top of the tent (pop up closet) which is about 6 ft, would stretching be a concern too?

Home Depot lol. But the plants look good except the small plant is suffering from bad soil or genetics. Now I never used a drip system because soil doesn't need to be watered as much. I have small plants that's your size in 3inch pots and I haven't watered them in 2weeks . Also because you using coco doesn't mean water everyday like YouTubers say . And your plants are to small to be taking in nutrients . Stop nutrients until about 2 more weeks because they not big enough to feed really unless you know wat you doing. The bigger plants lookin alittle overwatered due to soil holding so much water but just add more perlite from hime depot or slow down watering and put the drip system on long intervals because they are still in coco or soil but other than the root issues or genetics with small plant they look ok when you slow drip system down .if you saying you light is 6ft above plants stretching will be a problem but if you saying the tent is 6ft than depending on the light 24-36inch would be cool

PPM should be rolled back to about 350. It's too high.

Agree with Bankheadstoner: plants look fine. What you worried about?
Nothing wrong with Black Magic. Grew a 7 footer outdoors in it last summer.
One of your seeds is a runt. It happens. If you have the space, let It ride.
Easy on the water and nutes. Real easy.
Let that soil dry out.
Ditch the timing rig. Best to water by hand first time around to get a feel.
You're gonna get bud. And next time you'll get more.

Great, thank you all so much. I'll take it easy on the drip. The smallest definitely is a mutation, but I'm just going with it. More of a fun thing for summer than anything

Does anyone have an opinion on the constant drip vs the interval system? If so what interval should I run it on, I just don't want the coco to dry out and get the salt building up. I got the ppm to 346 or so, and my PH is about 6.2. As of now the lights are lowered to about 25 inches above the plants and I'll adjust as they grow. Since this is a recirculating system how should I prevent against any root rot? Any more advice is very appreciated. Emulating what I'm seeing and reading is a little more difficult than I thought.

I don't know how you can do drip or intervals in coco/soil.
Plants drink at different rates depending on many factors ... heat, size, stage etc...
Certainly not something I would be doing on my first grow.
