NEED HELP EXPERT/PRO LED'rs, COME ONE COME ALL!!!

So maybe you PRO's/EXPERTS can help me!

So I got the DS XML 350w and it seems to be doing really good in my 4x4 tent but could use a little more coverage. Will know about how it flowers in the next couple months.

I've seen and heard so much about so many LED's my heads going to EXPLODE!!!

I want solid knowledge and hands on exp. from the Pro's no one else. Example if you have a few grows under your belt ( weather they were amazing or not ) does not make you a PRO ya NOOB and shit I'm a noob hence this post.

So that said,

What are IN YOUR OPINION'S is the Absolute BEST LED Units you have used/why? Your top 3 Units/Companies are what I am looking for?

Here is what I will have for space. I'm doing hydro not soil but that shouldn't matter.

2x2x4 Tent: Clone/Mom
4x4x6 Tent: Veg
5x9x? Gorilla Grow Tent: Flower

Keep in mind I already have 1 light the DS XML 350.

So far what I've read and seen that are good are:

Apollo
Blackstar
LumiGrow
Diamond Series ( I know because I own one )

but I'm no expert and so I would love to hear from you experts/Pro's. Doesn't matter if its in a PM I just want to hear from your wisdom, please and thank you!

You seem confused:hug:.

I'd suggest clicking on more than one link to find your answers, as many before you have. Just to get your ball rolling:
Hans panel has been tested and is proven to produce (even if I don't entirely like it, Psuagro put the last nail in the coffin...).
Touch base with Area 51, they produce fixtures that are stood-by and proven here on RIU. Find the grows yourself.
If you never cut through the LED bullshit cake that is made up of most of the industry, you may end up hating LEDs. Real interest/motive will fetch the knowledge you seek.

Just want info not the attitude. I do talk to a few peeps on here and other sites but there are gonna be peeps out there I don't know or that are shy and might wanna just PM.

And this way I have it all right here for new people like me wondering the same questions.

I'm yet to run into a pro or expert on LEDs (don't get me wrong, some really sick led growers and crazy smart DIY led heads). We are all students, trying to perfect the art.

As someone who tends to get along with most people. I've got to say that everyone in this thread was helpful.

You're the one who's simply asking for others to do the work for you. You say yourself that you are a noob, and you're asking a fairly in depth question that isn't easy to answer with a few words or a link.

So, as someone who grows with LEDS. Spent weeks searching, and someone who knows how easy it is to navigate the RIU forum particularly the LED section.

You're an idiot. Do some work and research.

Also, 420dj is a stupid name.

Yo dj, I suggest u keep on looking, I think your on the right track, however ur asking a repetive questions that we hear from noobies or people trying to get into LEDs, All the time. U called out some names already so I'm sure u r doing ur research, my two cents, keep reading.

@dj ask a pertinent question and we will try and help, but please lose the attitude mate were a fairly friendly helpful bunch around here with people who will bend over backwards to help
as for experts I dont think jorge cevantes is on the forum :) (besides he did a reveiw posted in soft secrets saying leds dont work this year which is wierd as for the life of me I dont understand why he was using 1 watt leds in 2012) shows what he knows :dunce: and hes supposed to be an "expert"

Yea I heard that from any "expert" famous growers. Subcool is another I heard from, it's in people's natures to hate on new things. Especially when this new thing is givn such a bad rep by wack salesmen, or saleswomen.

WOW really wasn't expecting all that.

I've searched through threads/forums blogs bla bla bla for damn near a year straight now but still its a jumbled mess out there.

Everyone is so all over the place and there are parts given for answers instead of straight up answers like I seem to be getting here.

So far haven't got answers just ridiculed put down and given attitude. so don't say your pretty friendly Jerks.

All I wanted out of this was answers and so far everything but..... Don't post on here if its not what is asked about in this thread thanks!

Expert/Pro, and "best" are subjective terms.......

The first thing is to get a bit of history on how the technology progressed.
Google "Knna" and "Discussion of the pragmatic application of LED's"

Be sure to read and understand all the supporting data.

Then, please come back and ask some pointed questions.

Thank you Tenthirty, thats the first helpful things I've gotten here.

Just wanted to say its not from lack of trying on my part there is so much info and lies out there but its just finding the right info.

This is why I'M asking for help on this because theres gonna be people that might see this and go hey this is what I've used and its amazing, maybe with one of there journals or something.

Theres so much new Tech out there and I just want the right honest information!

Those "experts" work for a certain business or another.. Those old school experts did a lot of damage in the name of marketing, bottle nutes lightings and all. I am not surprised he claims LEDs don't work eheh

Here's a tip.. Beware of any companies that make unbelievable claims.. There are a lot of forums that post grow journals.. Check out the LED grows that you admire and take bits and pieces.. I've seen people with great LEDs not produce and people with little bootleg blackstars create that dank.. Good luck
