Need help: first time grower.

Okay, this is my first attempt at growing. And I did a little research before I started. But obviously not enough. I started back in april with two seeds that a buddy of mine gave to me. He got them through ordering on line, and gave me two of them. They are white widow. I am now almost three months into it, just through the two plants which were 21 inches when I through them to flower. It's been 11 days into flowering and my plants have not shown anything. I have no idea what I am doing wrong.

I checked to see if light was entering the room during it's dark cycle, nope. It's absolutely dark in there. No light what so ever. The temperature is consistantly between 72-76 degrees. I have a dedicated a/c for the room. The rh stays between 50-70%.

I just can't seem to get these babies to flower. I might have some male plants, they only seem to be growing little bumps, not exactly a pod yet, but could turn out to be one. I wish I had a camera to take some pics. Like I said I'm a first time grower, I have no idea what to look for. I know that supposedly after ten to fourteen days a female should have started to show trichomes. But I'm hoping for the best. So I don't want to cut them down unless I'm absolutely sure.

Can anyone please give me their opinion. Do I have bad room syndrome?
Or is this normal, do they take this long to show sex?

Males tend to show sex much faster so have faith . Since it is your first grow you may not be seeing the small pre-flowers . Give it a few more days and they will start showing .

Nice strain for a first grow !!

Good luck .

Thanx, like I said, I wish I had pictures to show you guys, I will be getting a camera very soon. I'm sure I can get more help from y'all if you could see the babies. They seemed to have stretched out about two inches per day, they're almost four feet. I lst'd them cause I don't have enough space for huge plants. I had no idea they would continue to grow so rapidly. They're just not showing their sex yet.
