Need help in budding, big plant, please help

my friend and roomate has a big plant just grown, except the problem is it is not budding, so I have this huge plant that has no weed. What can I do to make this plant bud? I am thinking that it is a male and not a female so it won't bud and can only be used for cross polunating. Anything helpful would be nice

sounds like u have some reading to do... put it on 12 hrs light 12 dark and it was flower... then u can find out if its male or female

AND...during the 12 hours of dark it can get absolutely no light....NONE

Put it into 12/12 wait a few weeks.
If you see little white hairs forming at the internodes, you most likley have a female, if there is a little sack, then you would have yourself a male.
