I wouldn't necessarily call it a step forward, it might grow faster but it lacks qualities that only dirt produces. It's all good tho.
Need help! Is it harvest time? Am I doing something wrong?

You do have a point. I've been trying to figure out a way to get that soil taste and the speed and yield of hydro. I think I may have a solution. Just have to do it.
Mr2shim wasn't suggesting it, it's the path I've pigeonholed myself into. I personally know dick about plants, but I've slammed more than one idiot on IT forums for what I suspect to be the very same reason Mr2shim did. Never underestimate the danger of a little knowledge in the hands of someone with a megaphone. The only slams Mr2shim laid down were directed to the "absolute" answers given by those that didn't ask a single question, and then jumped to a conclusion without enough information.
From what I've read, soil vs hydro is so night vs day that why not jump in with both feet and learn to swim in the deep end? Legitimate question! Would love an answer to it! However, that isn't the point of this particular post. I was simply asking for a couple of suggestions to a problem that I started seeing develop over the past week, and Mr2shim was knocking arbitrary cut-and-dry answers and providing information (not statements) that were backed up with a ton of evidence. In talking/thinking this through with those who've posted here, combined with the additional info provided by Mr2shim and his links, I came to realize that nutrients were completely eliminated far before they were supposed to have been, as we were relying on the soil to provide them (which, since we switched to a much lighter soil AND discontinued using the tree tea, weren't there!).
I have no question that soil is better smoke. And, soil will not provide the yields that I need to make it out of the mess that I put myself into. That's kinda what all-in means. So, sucks to be me, but I've got a lot of learning to do, and very little time to do so.
Enough of my shitty rant (sorry, had bad shwarma for dinner... I'm being pissy). I'm going to bed. Hope I didn't piss anyone off too much. I'll try to be in a better mood tomorrow. Hope everyone has a good night.

You know, this law we have was passed for people to provide meds for themselves and caregivers to treat their 5 patients. People like you who come into forums talking about growing giant yields to "get rich quick" are the reason a lot of people are saying that this wasn't the intent of the law.
I don't give a fuck what you do but maybe you should think about it and be a little more fucking discreet about your business.

You don't transplant during flower my friend. If you veg long just go from 1 gallon to 3 or 5 gallon and give them a week or so to recover then put them in 12/12. Inside growing doesn't always require giant pots. Unless its a mom that u plan on keeping a long time. I don't flush with all that water. I just water plain for 2 weeks. By the time it's all done you've gotten all the salts out.
Prior to publicly condemning me as a soulless douchbag, please allow me to say this; I agree with you completely! I am a legitimate patient and a caregiver because I have first-hand experience of the phenomenal benefits provided by this amazing little plant, and have forever considered the illegality of marijuana to be the height of hypocrisy!
Growing, for me, was never intended as a “get rich quick” scheme. My soul focus from the very start of this project has been this; grow the highest quality plants possible, and to supply them to my legitimate patients for a reasonable compensation far below that of dispensaries. It certainly wasn’t my intent to offend anyone, nor contribute towards the (unjustly) negative image of this tremendous law that allows us to utilize a natural remedy for the multitude of ailments afflicting so many within our community. Needing to make enough money to recoup my investment isn't wrong, it's the reason the law is structured in a way that caregivers can "donate" meds to their patients and be compensated for time and costs. I'm aware that many donate their time, materials, etc.. at no cost whatsoever. I do not have the ability to provide that... yet. I've put all I have left into this. I've worked my ass off for the past 9 months. Things have fallen way behind schedule for a number of reasons (most notably, the deaths of 3 close family members), and I'm looking at a foreclosure letter next to my keyboard. My stated intentions came from a distinct feeling of desperation, fear, and an attempt at brevity, coupled with an admitted lack of information. However, it was unquestionably bad judgement, and it will not happen again.
I can't even imagine what it's like to have a migraine all night. I've heard no other pain comes close, but I've never suffered one personally. You sincerely have my sympathy, and your well-being will be in my thoughts.

I apologize if I mistook your intentions, maybe I read into it the wrong way. But you made out like that was ypur intention tho. And like I said, I dont care what you do but everyone needs to be careful what they post because one bad apple..... Makes us all look bad..

you shouldn't for sure but I've had plants looking really sad like that in just the first 3 or 4 weeks of 12 and a trasplant helped them finish healthy (lil later then they should have)-the real answer is find what happened this time and prevent it from hapening next time of course but don't ever say never.
I have no question that you didn't read into it the wrong way. What I said (within the deleted post) deserved a slap because, in reality, I'm not willing to go there. I was speaking out of fear and panic. My last post was necessary to clear up where I stand, mostly so that I'm clear on it! So thanks!

Ok I'm not a expert. But I do have some suggestions. First off do your last transplant just before you start flowering cycle. Maybe a week to a week and a half before. Transplanting is a shock to the root system and the plant will need time to recover. Also when you start flowering you want the plant to be focused on flowering not root growth. When you flush. It would help to use a flushing agent. They are designed to brake down the salt deposits left behind by the nuts. What I do is flush real good with sledgehammer flush 2 weeks before estimated harvest time. Then I run just water at a 6.2 to 6.6 (I adjust that up or down. Depending on the PH of the water coming out of the bottom of the pot. If that is high like 7.0 coming out. I use 6.2 going in, and vice verses. But I never go below 6.0 and never over 6.8 in a dirt grow). When you start flushing your plants. you are depriving them of the nuts they need to keep growing(ie. nitrogen is the big one at this point). That's OK because your plant is going to draw that nitrogen from the fan leaves and redirect it to bud growth. In the hopes of making seeds. That's what plants want to do. Make seeds, and perpetuate there life cycle. So the yellowing and dieing of the fan leaves is a normal thing.
Your plants look great for a first grow. You should be proud of what you have done so fare. Remember your just going to get batter at this.
