Need help on choosing system to water plants

hi, im going away for a week and i have 2 options for my plants to keep them alive. Option A: i have a water pump ( in a 5 gallon reseviour filled with nutrients in the water) which is attached to a digital timer, this would turn on for 2 min a day every other day. The hose breaks off into three seperate hoses, one to each plant's pot. As these pots are sitting directly on top of the reseviour, the excess water falls back into the 5 gallon container. Have a Diagram Attachment to better illustrate my point.Opbtion B: Buy a water dripping system
 
if i cant interact with internet interface its cause im missing a download such as java (i have java though). at the moment i cant use the text tool bar, nor i can attach pictures. What file am i missing?
 
i set up the water system, it works great, i recommend it for anyone who needs to go away for some time
