Need help on METAL HALIDE GLASS COVER with ENCLOSED CASING

this is an enclosed 400W metal halide in our location,


Can I use this and open the glass to allow direct air ventilation since this is an enclosed housing.



I am a bit afraid since the casing is made out of aluminum and might cause the grow room to heat up

Is it safe to open the glass?



Is there any suggestion?

That almost looks like an aquarium light. Is there venting holes in the hood? Where did you get that. Akari is from the Philippines.

there is not vent on this.
