Need help picking a scale!

I'd go with the first one myself. Looks like it'd be easier to store, plus look at all the extra room on the tray. Chuck that thing under the couch or slip it in the bureau should unexpected company arrive.

I like the first one too. It has a bigger surface, it is flat. The resolutions and limits are exactly the same.

its resolution is one gram in the metric mode. so .5 grams is 1 gram. 1.5 grams is 1 gram. ..... how is that a good grass weighing scale?

I've always used Tanita and Ohaus. Both make damn fine scales (especially the latter). Just glancing at those I wouldn't not buy the first one at all, and that second one would certainly give me pause (though it is a brand I have heard of before).

I have had my tanita for well over 8 years and have dropped it several times the thing is still very accurate. it cost me $150
