need help please...yellowing leaves

@ghgou812 right on thanks for the help and yes it does make sense. Im not able to pick up a ph tester til friday so hopefully they dont get too bad before that

With regards to the N def. I believe that before you transplanted the plant it had used up all the nutes in its old home and it began to run low on food. Since you have transplanted it, there should be enough nutes to feed the plant in the FFOF as soon as the roots go on walk-a-bout. That is why the growth over the last few days looks good, the roots are expanding and finding the nutes.

I use FFOF and I will not feed any nutes for a couple weeks after transplanting, pH'd water only, which if it is a pH issue, giving it just water that is properly pH'd will fix the problem, if in fact it was a pH issue.

That makes sense! I'm not a soil grower (indoors) so didn't think about recovery times and such. So many variables in this hobby hard to keep track lol.

Regarding the nutes tho for when I start flowering. So 1 tsp per 1 gallon of water. Do I water with that whole gallon or just until I see decent run off out the bottom? This will be myfirst time ever using nutes so dont wanna fry them on my first run.[/QUOTE]

Here are the most recent pictures as of this morning. Im switching them over to flowering tonight. Today marks the 4th week of veg.

I do have a question. Since im going into flowering and im in a pretty small closet, whatwould be my best route to go for managing smell?? This Is the main thing im concerned about. I only have about $80 to spend on smell management right now and not sure what to do with it. Any suggestions are appreciated

Don't under estimate how much they will smell. I would try to get the biggest fan/carbon filter you can afford-that's going to be hard to do for under 100-150bucks. Remeber that smell has been the ruin of many a grower.

For 80 bucks I would look into Ona gel, bucket, and 9" fan(like a desk fan). It really does work wonders. It doesn't just mask the smell, it binds to it and helps it 'fall out' of the air. It's strong stuff-it was made for sewage plants. They have a fresh linen scent now that doesn't smell like a gas station bathroom, I would recommend that one. I personally use a combination of carbon filter, ona placed right outside my grow room, and some strategically placed timed misters. Sounds like overkill but my house doesn't just not smell like bud, it smells clean and fresh. I actually get comments about how 'clean and fresh' my house is. I keep it that way intentionally. Everyone thinks I'm actually a responsible adult!

You can put a little ona in the bottom of a 5gal bucket that you have drilled a bunch of holes in. Then, on the lid of the bucket, cut out a circle for your 9-10" fan and place it in there. The fan should be blowing down through your bucket so all the air in the room is constantly being forced through your bucket and all around the ona gel inside.

I would not recommend putting it inside your closet. Your finished product might take on an 'ona' taste. For 80 bucks I think it's your best option. The small ona gel costs about 30-40 bucks where I live. The work really well for about a month, then start deminishing. I always have a back up on hand just in case.

I would also recommend timed 'misters'. There is a product called Ozium that really works well, but galde and febreeze make similar misters. The ozium is a much better product for eliminating odors, the glade and febreeze just maske them, but either way since they are on a timer the odor control is continuous. You put the mister on a wall(I like to put them right by any doors people might come to, and right outside the door of my grow room) and you can set how often you want them to mist. I use the glad ones by my front, side, and back doors and I use an ozium mister right outside my grow room door.

Hope this helps, those are the cheapest options I have come across that actually work. Just always make sure you have at least one back up of each. Smell has a way of creeping up on you. I will never make the mistake of not having a back up carbon filter or ona gel ever again.

Right on I appreciate it. I never underestimate the smell. I know its ridiculously strong. I actually have 3 ona gels already. I can spend more on smell management in a week. $80 is Just what I have right now which I probly wont need to spend until after the first week of flower. Is there a certain type of carbon filter you or anybody else reading would recommend?
I have two desk fans already also.

Another quick question. I know with flowering u need the 2700k bulbs but I see people sayin u can have 1 or 2 6500k bulbs on during flowering. Would it be too much 6500k to keep the 125watt 6500k bulb in and all the rest 2700k? Im thinkin because it will be a more lumens if I kept the 125watter rather than say 2 26 watt bulbs.
