Need help strange growth

Hey need some thoughts and knowledge. I have 2 vanilla kush week 2 flower great week 3 flower weird ass growth right out the top..after stretch. No bananas just sparse as shit and weird looking.
Vamill kush
DWC 5 gallon bucket
Temp 68-80
Ph went as low as 5.2 highest 6.3 mostly at 5.9 to 6.1 yes a little bit of a swing.
Ppm 840 using dyna bloom ,armor si, botanicare cal mag,

Reveg ...

Most like weak genetics or issues with light leaks / ( cycle )

Thanks for responding. I don't think genetics these are from barneys farm and are quality genetics..but the lIght leak....that didnt cross my mind but could be...I just thought they would hermie if light leak. I have grand daddy purp growing in the same tent no problem though I have been growing for 6 years and made alot of mistakes. This one is messin with my head. I might chop it down. Also should hav ed said in veg they looked good but had root rot (started the plants with an old airstone) so had pythium..I changed the buckets and airstones and gave the roots a serious haircut. They grew back great, plant is super sticky but so weird
