Need help, when Can I transplant seeds outside.

im going to start seeds for my outdoor grow in the next 1-2 weeks, I plan to start them inside under 18/6.

My question/concern is them flowering as soon as I put them outside,
What steps Can I take to ensure they continue vegging outside?
I’ve read I could alowly decrease ( 15 min every 2 days) the light, but is that neccasarry?

I was going to set the light schedule to on at 6am ( when the sun rises).

Sorry for the rant but also read that seeds rarely flower early so maybe I won’t even have a problem?

It’s latitude dependent mostly, next would be strain. I’m at 43• and I put them out late May with good weather. Have to ask a local likely around the same time, maybe a bit later.

In indica strain you will have to worry more about than if its mostly saliva. I wouldn't start till middle of march. Your looking at least middle of April first of may before the days are long enough.enoug to move outside.

If you want to know when to put them outside it's matter of planning vs. hit or miss to get the perfect time. I have gotten better results moving them outside during veg but before flower stage. Always do this on a cloudy even rainy day. After that it's a matter of length of day and how much sun. Summer begins about June 20. After that days get shorter but veg well for at least a month after. Buds are bigger during waning days of summer but still grow other times. Spring plants do veg longer and get bigger but the season gives best results.

You may want to consider gradually acclimating plants to the outside if they have never "seen" the sun. They can sunburn.
Good luck.

I am in cen cal, and I refuse to pop my seeds before mid march. I have had multiple different strains flower then re veg if popped in feb.

you need a very sativa dom strain that is not hybridized.

Besides, seeds popped late march will ALWAYS be healthier and more vigorous than a feb start

You could in theory start indoor and keep them under 18/ 6 until june when you have gradually taken them down to 15 hours of light and still no sign of flower, then place them outdoor. chances are they would be pretty big by that time though, might need to take cuts for the season unless you got space for massive plants.

i would still just wait till late march and pop full term season though, it's easier and less stressful
